About the site

This site is an idyllic camping and touring site, set within an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Roseland Heritage Coast in Cornwall. It's a quiet and tranquil coastal site, free from road noise and light pollution. It is also the closest campsite to Dodman Point, perfect for those taking on the South West Coast Path. With two spectacular sea views and a short walk (15-30 minutes) to three nearby beaches, it's a lovely spot to take a proper break in the sea air. On clear days, you can see all the way up to Looe and down to the Lizard. The site's all-grass pitches are split across four fields. The non electric grass pitches are suitable for tents and campervans and are on a slight slope while the standard non electric grass pitches with a sea view are level, tiered pitches suitable for tents only. The standard electric grass pitches have a 10 amp electric hook up and the sheltered electric grass pitches have 16 amp electric, and are both suitable for tents, trailer tents, roof tents, caravans, motorhomes and campervans. The larger premium electric pitches have 16 amp electric hook up but are not suitable for motorhomes. While onsite, enjoy a tasty Indian and British food takeaway, serving plentiful vegan and vegetarian options! One night a week, the site offers pizza, plus there is a cooked breakfast on the weekends. For those with a sweet tooth, there are freshly baked pastries as well as a variety of savoury lunches. The site is also dog-friendly, but owners are asked to keep their furry friends on a lead and clean up after them.

Single Axle Caravan - Premium Electric Grass Pitches (16 Amp)Sep 2025

Pitches are a good size and the site is located in beautiful unspoilt countryside 15 minutes walk from Hemmick beach. Perfect for walking Charlie, the Labrador for a morning swim! Staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. Excellent laundry enabling us to wash and dry our clothes within an hour. Good idea to enable food in the cafe to be eaten at table or take back to your tent or van. Excellent cider on draught and good selection of wine to purchase. We can definitely recommend the site. Thanks to the team for a lovely week.

Amazing site!

Small Tent - Standard Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2025

Great site, it was amazing having a fully stocked shop and hot food on sight. It was quite windy when I was there so maybe that's something to bear in mind, but the site itself is faultless.

Fantastic stay

VW-Type Campervan - Premium Electric Grass Pitches (16 Amp)Aug 2025

Lovely campsite with friendly staff. Very flexible when we needed to change from campervan to tent and found us the most suitable pitch for our reactive dog. Fantastic views and facilities. Toilets could have been cleaner at times.
