Bank House Farm is set in the heart of the Eden Valley and directly on the Coast to Coast (C2C) route, just 20 mins from the Lakes. Pitch up in your tent at the secluded orchard looking out to Sunny Gill Beck or choose from four static caravans - all set on the family run equestrian centre. Nearby, you can explore Long Meg and Her Daughters, a Bronze Age stone circle, as well as Lacy's Caves, chambers in the red sandstone cliff of River Eden.
Situated in the quaint village of Little Salkeld, the site is directly on the C2C route at the bottom of the Pennines before you reach Hartside pass. The site is ideal whether you're taking a well earned rest after your cycle or wanting to use it as your own base for the journey. For walkers, the North Pennines AONB is a great place to explore, home to waterfalls, woodland and enticing landscapes. There are grass pitches available for tents without electric, set in a pretty orchard overlooking a beck, as well as four static caravans to hire. Dogs are also welcome here.
This site is open to accept bookings all year but will handle enquiries according to the expected weather conditions.
