About the site
This quiet site sits on the edge of the village of Caldbeck in this stunning part of the Lake District. Campers here can enjoy easy access to many of the areas most popular walking trails, including direct access to the Cumbrian Way which runs between Ulverston and Carlisle. Tents and trailer tents are welcome on both the ten non electric grass pitches and the three electric grass pitches, which each come with a 16 amp hook up. For those who want a little slice of luxury, the adult-only bell tent is the perfect option. Inside you will find a cosy double bed, electric, tea and coffee making facilities, along with a table and chairs. Outside is your own private garden area with a fire pit, seating for alfresco dining and a sheltered bench area. Bell tent guests also have access to a private toilet tucked around the side of the tent. BBQs are allowed, as long as they are raised from the ground, and there are fire pits available to hire along with wood to purchase. Dogs are welcome on pitches.
