Love the enclosed field for letting our dog of for a great run around.

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 Great place for a nice and relaxing break, also a variety of things to do nearby in the heart of the Peak District. Location is perfect with some great views. Loved it!
Facilities available are quality and generally speaking it is a great place. Adults only makes it even more relaxing if you are looking for a nice and quiet time.
Our only advice is that on arrival, if using GPS input the site directly rather than the post code as it could leave you in the middle of nowhere about 2 miles from the site! This happened to a friend :D
Relaxing weekend break
Small Tent - Electric Hardstanding Tent Pitches Jun 2025 We have stopped at Longnor before and it does not disappoint. Beautiful setting, peaceful and the sun shone. Have booked again or August bank holiday.
Great stay
Medium Tent - Electric Hardstanding Tent Pitches Jun 2025 We stayed in one of their four tent pitches, which was in a quiet area next to the glamping huts.
The whole site is well maintained, with great facilities and everything was very clean. The staff were lovely and friendly. It rained quite a bit while we were staying, so the cabin near reception was most welcome, as it gave us somewhere to sit and play cards, in the dry and warm.
They also have a games room which seemed pretty popular. It's in a great location, with some beautiful walks near by, either walking from the site or a short drive away. I've already recommended it to a friend and I'd definitely go back in the future.
Wonderful place to stay
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Standard Pitches May 2025 This site was absolutely beautiful. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The place is spotlessly clean. Everything you need for a peaceful time away.
We will definitely be returning. There is nothing negative I can say about Longnor. 5 *****

Medium Tent - Electric Hardstanding Tent Pitches May 2025 Campsite is very well run, facilities are excellent, very clean, staff were all friendly. We stayed in our tent for 3 night. Unfortunately, it was very windy on the Saturday so not much sleep was had, this is a. Adults only site so was very quiet.
They had a lovely safe field that you could let your dogs off for a run without worrying they would get out. We would go back here.
Vacation
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Standard Pitches May 2025 Enjoyed our stay at the site, helped with beautiful weather.
Pitch could have been slightly bigger, however facilities and the games room were very good. Location is beautiful.
Well presented
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Standard Pitches Apr 2025 What can I say, such a clean and well presented site.
Super toilet and shower block, without the inconvenience of having to keep pressing the button to keep shower going, loads of hot water and everything you could need for a wonderful stay.
Staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble, all in all very pleased with stay at site and definitely would like return visit and to recommend to friends. Dog friendly site and the adjacent woods perfect for walking the pooch.

You will need a vehicle to get to the local villages or towns if you have walking issues, as the roads are without pavements and in some cases quite steep.
Nice place to stay for adult only stays.
Relaxing wonderful scenery

Quiet site
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Standard Pitches Apr 2025 Site located in a beautiful setting, very quiet. The only thing I would say is that the last 5 miles to the site from Bakewell (1 mile the other side of Longnor Village) is very narrow. Not for the novice.

Amazing
Trailer Tent - Electric Hardstanding Standard Pitches Apr 2025 Arrived late, but we phoned the site and they told us how to check in. Site was amazing, it's lovely and clean, and the staff are very friendly and happy to help. Definitely coming again.
Stayed one night
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches Mar 2025 Me and my husband wanted just a last minute night away and decided on this site, as we were kid free.
Checking in was so easy and we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who went through all the facilities on site etc. Got to say, the facilities were so clean and the site was lovely and peaceful. Only negative for some would be, it was in the middle of nowhere, but that suited us as we like to drive and visit different towns, so this was just a place to sleep.
The price was reasonable as well for one night. I would definitely stay again and would enjoy the peaceful surroundings and clean site.
Clean, quiet and well maintained
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Hardstanding Standard Pitches Mar 2025 Lovely, clean and well maintained site. Toilet and shower block are clean, warm and well maintained.
The only downside is if you have a larger van, the standard hardstandings are too small. Go for the fully serviced pitches, they are much bigger. Staff are friendly and accommodating .
We went in low season so the site was quiet during the weekdays but still filled quickly weekends, so make sure you book in advance. Adults only site.

Excellent for if you've got a dog. Would highly recommend and look forward to going back

Lovely place, lovely clean facilities - kettle, microwave, gym. Perfect place to stay, good place to bring the dogs too.

Really helpful staff. They have thought of everything for you. Great shop, Games room, Gym, Books to read, etc. Washing machines, microwave, also.
Fully accessible bathroom and toilet also for disabled. Lovely showers and toilets - very clean. Even a dog wash and an enclosed field as a dog walking area.
There for you 100% if you need them, but apart from that they leave you to it and no strict rules. I can see why this site has won awards.
Location hard to find on my sat nav. Rang up and owner explained easier to put the campsite name into Apple or Google maps as the postcode covers a wide area. Had a problem with my EHU on arrival and the owner willingly helped me out.
Overall, really well run. Short drive to Longnor, Hartington, etc.
Lovely campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Hardstanding Tent Pitches Feb 2025 Lovely site, very peaceful with beautiful surroundings.
Staff couldn't be helpful enough, the site is very clean and have excellent facilities. Only reason I gave it 4 stars for location is because it's a 20 minute drive to bigger shops in Buxton and 30 minutes drive to main popular locations in the Peaks. This wasn't a problem personally but could see this as a negative for some.
Would 100% stay again.
