Just a five minute walk over the road takes you to Hele Bay Beach and you can also walk to Ilfracombe.

A great small site with everything we needed. Run by lovely people who were happy to help and let you know what was going on around the area. Walking distance to the sea and plenty to see in and around Ilfracombe. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in one of the camping pods. It was very comfy and well thought out. Owners were very friendly and gave us good recommendations for local things to do.

The facilities were super clean and had everything you need (loo, sink, mirror, shelf, hook, shower) in one cubicle. There was drinking water and a light right next to each pitch by the looks of things and this was super useful and convenient. Lovely location - walking distance from a small beach then an easy drive to all the main beaches. Would 100% recommend!

Lovely site set in a valley, very clean and tidy with helpful staff. My only criticism would be the fact that the showers and sinks are on press timers and set very low. When in the shower you have to keep pressing the shower button every 15-20 seconds, which is annoying.

The thought and layout of this park is amazing, never camped anywhere where so much thought has gone into the detail. Brilliant beach for dogs within 10 minute walk. Within easy reach of illfracombe, the walk back up the hill is not for the faint hearted. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

We stayed in one of the glamping pods for 3 nights and it was lovely. It was peaceful and the location is great, as are the facilities. The only thing was that the wood supplied was wet from recent rain, even though there was a plastic box it could have been put in to keep dry. The three pods are also closer than I would like so there's not much privacy from the people in the pod next door when you want to sit outside.

From the moment Hazel in reception took time to explain local attractions, walking routes and eateries (including pubs), to the moment we left thee days later, our stay was a joy! Highly recommended!

Small, but really lovely site! The natural walk they've made is lovely. The staff (especially the Irish lady, sorry no offence to the rest as she was the only one we spoke to). She recommended a lovely coast walk to a nearby tiny harbour, with a tearoom. Very lovely! Would come again!

Myself and my partner had managed to get some time off work and were looking for a lovely spot on the North Devon coast with our newly converted camper. We stumbled across Hele Valley on Campsites.co.uk and the booking was so straightforward. On arrival the member of staff was really welcoming and even adjusted our pitch to be closer to the toilet/shower blocks given how quiet they were - this was nestled next to the stream passing through which was even better. Facilities were superb, well-maintained and couldn't ask for more from a campsite. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

We have really enjoyed our stay at Hele Valley. From the moment we arrived until we left, the people there were friendly and helpful. The facilities are top notch and always spotless. We got a campervan this year and have been spending our time staying at different locations across the country. This is hands down, the best place we have stayed all year. We will be coming back next year. To put this into context, we live 350 miles away so it's no small trip to make. But definitely worth it.

Had a lovely few days in this park. Had a lovely spacious pitch close to the spotless toilets and washing up facilities. Close to beach, pub and garage which had a premier shop inside. Lovely walk into Ilfracombe. All staff were nice and friendly. Already recommended to our friends.
