Just a five minute walk over the road takes you to Hele Bay Beach and you can also walk to Ilfracombe.

Set in a beautiful little valley next to a stream. The park has play facilities for the younger children up to 14. The facilties are very clean and the staff are very friendly.

Relaxing weekend away, peaceful, friendly and a quiet location. Close to Illfracombe, Coombe Martin, Lynton and Lymouth with the Cliff railway. Amazing coastal scenery nearby and views of Exmoor on your travels. Definitely recommend a visit/stay.

We stayed here for one week and couldn't fault it! The staff are super friendly and welcoming, the pitches are lovingly maintained with good space and ours had water and an electric hook-up! The campsite is a very short walk to the local corner shop, petrol station, restaurant/pub and (most importantly) the beach! We felt it was great value for money and really, really enjoyed our stay on this family friendly, spacious and relaxing campsite!

What a lovely site - I rarely give any site 5 stars as I always think I may find a better one, but I have to take a chance on Hele Valley. The nicest site we have stayed in since we started camping. Facilities are immaculate. The grounds are really well maintained and the location was ideal. Hele itself is a bit sparse but it has a shop, a pub serving food and the beach was excellent for kids. The staff at site were very helpful and gave us loads of good local info. You must try farmhouse cooking at top of the campsite - ask at reception for details. Will be going back for sure

Such a lovely clean and well kept site. Little bit far out to walk to places, as it's all up hill on the way back, but we still did it and worth it to stay here.

What a fantastic place to stay. The place is stunning, the owners are such nice people and the site is spotless. It's not far from Ilfracombe and me and the wife walked it everyday. Really enjoyed our stay, many thanks.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the park. Friendly staff, willing to help. The facilities were nice and clean and the site looked immaculate and well maintained. Nice park for the children to burn off some energy.

Nice place, I had an issue about a fault with WiFi not working so well. Reported this issues and takes a few days to fix because the engineer on leave! On high season, which is an important period of needs? This place is nice, but be aware that this site is on a hill side. No nearby shop around this area.

The hosts are genuinely nice people who want your stay to be as pleasant as possible and can do enough to ensure that, even offering weary walkers a lift up to their pitch/ accommodation. Our pitch was blessed with sun from around 10am to sunset and each pitch has its own electric point with drinking water and it's own grey waste drain. The wonderfully named 3 glamping pods "iPod, tripod & peapod" are in a beautiful setting along with some grass tent pitches. There isn't a shop on site but there is a petrol station and shop around a 5 mins walk away. The park entrance which Genoa's everything you could need. Also, a very nice pub and not forgetting Hele's kitchen, who do great takeaway food including picnic boxes for the beach. A further 5 minutes walk is Hele cove which is a nice little beach (dog friendly) where you can either paddle board or Kayak (I did twice). The lodges and statics look great and some have hot tubs. We have already rebooked a stay in November (birthday treat) for a pod with hot tub and will definitely be back next year.

First time here and would highly recommend this site. It is perfectly located with very generous pitch sizes. Shower facilities excellent, never had any trouble getting a shower. The best plus for me was the peace and quiet, a very tranquil site.

Lovely stay at this site. Even though it was full, it was quiet. Good sized pitches. I had a small camper van pitch and it was big enough for micro camper van, two man tent and a toilet tent. Hele beach is a lovely cove. Great for children and paddle boarding. Bit of a long walk up hill back to the camping area after a long day out but manageable when done slowly. Stayed for a week and would have stayed longer if I could. Only thing I would say would enhance the site more would be a takeaway shop/café on site.

Nice site, only there 1 night but good walk to Hele Bay, a bit of a climb over to Ilfracombe, but still nice and not far. Treat yourself to breakfast at Comyn Farm at the top end of the campsite, great food and experience, and lovely people. Dogs are very welcome.
