About Wonton Park Camping
A great base for exploring South Devon, this family friendly campsite is ideally located for days of walking or relaxing on the beach. Just a short drive from the scenic Dartmoor National Park, there are plenty of hiking trails nearby, where you may even spot free roaming ponies. There are a total of 15 grass pitches onsite, each measuring a spacious 15m x 15m with plenty of room to set up your table and chairs. Five of the pitches are non electric, allowing tents and trailer tents, with ten electric pitches, each with a 16 amp hook up and welcoming tents, trailer tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans. All guests can enjoy access to the modern facilities onsite, with fire pits available to hire, along with firewood to purchase. You are also welcome to bring along your own fire pit or BBQ, as long as they are raised from the ground. Dogs are welcome to join you for your stay too, with up to two permitted per pitch. This site is a member of The Greener Camping Club, therefore membership is required for booking and can be added for a small fee upon securing your stay.
Wonton Park Camping is open from 28/03 to 30/09.
Facilities include modern flushing toilets and warm showers. There is an undercover washing up area, along with fire pits to hire and logs to purchase.
South Brent is a five minute drive away with a Co-op, the The Pack Horse Inn and independent shops. The closest pub to the site is The Avon Inn, a 30 minute walk away.

The site is perfectly located for exploring all that South Devon has to offer. Just a short drive from Dartmoor National Park, the area is popular with walkers and cyclists alike, or those just looking to catch a glimpse of free roaming ponies.
Totnes is within a ten minute drive, home to the historic Totnes Castle, shops and eateries. You can also pick up a steam train from South Devon Railway - Staverton Station (10 minutes), or visit Totnes Rare Breeds Farm (20 minutes).
For days by the sea. you will be spoilt for choice. Broadsands Beach is a 30 minute drive away, with the shingle beach at Blackpool Sands (30 minutes) providing a great spot for kayaking, swimming and sunbathing.
