Aerial of the site and coast

Graston Copse Holiday Park is idyllic and peaceful and perfect for nature lovers. The River Bride flows past the park and there is a dog walk and riverside walk around the park as well as a public riverside walk to the village of Burton Bradstock with its pretty 16th and 17th century thatched cottages, shops and pubs. Hive Beach on the Jurassic Coast is just a one mile walk.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

This is a lovely site, which is clean and tidy. Lovely walks for you and your dogs. Staff very friendly and helpful. The reasons for only 4 stars is the facilities are a far trek to get to. the second reason was we could only book for 3 nights when we only wanted to stay for two nights. Overall a lovely place.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2025

Lovely campsite, however says 1 mile to Hive beach which implied it's walkable We enjoyed our stay but paid for Wi-Fi which still didn't work in the lower meadow field. Therefore, we couldn't say we had arrived until we were off site and then read about getting a reserved space sign when it was too late. Also, very nasty smells around the site - couldn't make out if it was sewage from cans/campers or local farms.

Well maintained and quiet site

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

What a lovely site. Extremely well looked after. Beautiful walks along the river, hidden benches in shady areas. We stayed in purple field. The pitches are huge. Near by West Bay and Hive beach. Hive beach has great cafe and restaurant. A very big shout out to Phil who looks after the site. He was great when we needed help (the mystery of the disappearing awning attachment). One star knocked off just because the toilet and shower facility were located in the static van area, which have their own bathrooms away from the touring pitches. No problem walking for a shower, but not so great in the middle of night for a wee. Toilets were very clean. Just a note. The new ANPR barrier needs attention.

Site's response

Thank you from all of the team for the fantastic review of your stay.

Excellent camp site, staff very friendly. Toilets and showers cleaned regularly and always spotless. Reception open 9-10.30 and 3.30-5pm, Debs was very knowledgeable, small shop inside. Lovely walks into Burton Bradstock 10 mins and 25 mins walk to Hove Beach. Will definitely be back… thank you

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

Mixed reviews for this site. We liked the tranquillity, the massive pitch area and the river walk into the village. It was spotless throughout. However, the facilities were in with the static vans, so quite a trek. 2 showers per male and female and 2 unisex showers, which were not enough when the site was full. We only found 1 dog bin on the site, there may have been more but we didn't find them. You would need to pick your pitch if you are a sun lover as some were in the shade a lot of the day. You have to check yourself in, with no contact with anyone, this to us seemed like they took your money and were left to fend for yourself, but that might just be us? Overall, it is a lovely quiet site with 2 pubs in the village and lots of local walks from the site. It is very sheltered. A bus stop outside the Anchor Pub goes east or west along the coast.

Site's response

Thank you for your detailed review of your stay. We are pleased that you enjoyed the park and the nearby walks.

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2025

We stumbled across this site after the one we were booking was full. We are so glad that we did. It is thoughtfully laid out with large flat spacious pitches that feel very private. The grounds a perfectly manicured, we wondered how they achieve this, as never saw a mower or heard a strimmer. We had a pitch backing on to the river, which was also perfectly groomed. The online booking and automated entry were a breeze. It is very dog friendly with plenty of areas to exercise them and off road paths to the coast. The site is very laid back, as long as you stick to the usual necessary rules, making it a very relaxed stay. We loved it.

Such a peaceful site, lovely walk around the site through a wooded area and along the river. Never heard so many birds before. Nice walk through to Burton Bradstock, and then to walk over the hills into Hive beach, Freshwater and West Bay and beyond. Will definitely be back.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Ideal site, good pitches, the toilet facilities were not close to the purple touring and camping area. Dog walking area was great. Walk into village was along river and through fields. Not suitable young children or teenagers.

Site's response

Thank you for your review, we are pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Our park is very suitable for children and teenagers if they like woodland walks and a calm peacful holiday.

Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2025

Great stay over May Bank Holiday - the site was full but didn't feel crowded. Our dogs loved the on site dog field, stream and woodland walk. Good mix of campers - all quiet and friendly. Great dog friendly, natural beaches close by, hill walks and views. Friends and their dog were allowed to visit us for the day and park on site. Access through the village was tight for twin axle with parked cars and blind corners - shame no campsite signage on the turn in.

Site's response

Thank you for your feedback, we are pleased that you and your dogs enjoyed the park.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

We were very surprised by the site. At a little over £25 a night for a grass pitch with EHU, we found the pitch size much larger than many other sites with plenty of space between vans. It is very close to the river with walks all around the site. It is also only 0.8 miles walk along the river bank to Burton Bradstock and the local pubs. We were there after the schools returned, which made it very peaceful and only the weather was the real negative. The shower blocks are limited with only 3 showers in the men's and ladies (although there are also a couple of unisex bathrooms). I guess this could be a bit of a negative in the height of the season. There is no other facilities at the site such as playgrounds, cafe but this did not detract for our enjoyment. Will we return. Most certainly. Right price, great location, peaceful and check in online prior to arrival made it very easy.

Thank you from all of the team.

VW-Type Campervan - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Nice site, hidden away down a narrow lane. Well located for country walks and access to the beach. The river running along the edge of the dog walking meadow was a treat and meant that the dogs were always clean when returning from a cross country walk! Facilities are clean, hot water was plentiful. Nice relaxed atmosphere in general.

Site's response

We are pleased that you had a relaxing time.

The site was in a great location, tucked away down a narrow quiet lane, we didn't see any staff for our whole stay but entry was easy and all instructions clear. Facilities were spotless and everything you needed was there. We were in Lower Meadow which was a great flat pitch and very quiet.

Site's response

Thank you for the great feedback.

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

Fantastic campsite with big pitches and fab dog walking spaces. Good location and clean facilities. Quiet and considerate campers. Only negative is the long walk to showers and toilets. Washing up facilities not very user friendly as very cramped.

Site's response

Thank you for your review and comments which we will pass on.

Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

The site was quiet, with plenty of space for children to play without disturbing other visitors. The river and woodland walks were nice for a short stroll each day. From our pitch, it was quite a distance to the facilities, which didn't affect us but may be an issue for some visitors, especially those with younger children. Phone service was patchy (a drama for the teens) however, the on-site Wi-Fi solved the problem.

Site's response

Thank you for your feedback.

VW-Type Campervan - Lower Meadow Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2024

A good location with satisfactory amenities. Friendly & helpful staff. The site wasn't overly busy but I would suspect that with only 2 showers available, there would be long queues in busy months. Also, the length of time the shower stays on needs to be longer, around 15 secs before it goes off I feel is insufficient.

Site's response

Thank you for your review and feedback.
