About the site

Nestled on an organic farm in the heart of the Cotswolds AONB, this site offers a relaxing and peaceful escape for couples, families, or solo travellers. As part of a long-term rewilding project, enjoy unspoilt wildflower meadows, visits from local wildlife, and open countryside. Guests have easy access to Broadway (20 minutes) and Bourton-on-Water (25 minutes) for days of sightseeing, and outdoor lovers can enjoy nearby hiking trails, including the Cotswold Way (10 minutes). Stay in one of the 25 cosy furnished bell tents, available in 4m or 7m sizes. Each tent features a king size or super king size bed, fairy lights, outdoor seating, and rural views. Explore the local area with ease, and visit Broadway Tower, just 15 minutes away. Diddly Squat Farm, owned by Jeremy Clarkson, is a 25 minute drive, or head to his pub, The Hawkstone Arms, 20 minutes from the site. The market town of Evesham is 30 minutes away. Please note that this is a pet-free site. BBQs and fire pits are welcome as long as they are raised off the ground.

A Co-op Food is a five minute drive away for picking up essentials. Todenham Manor Farm Shop is a ten minute drive, open from 8am until 5pm. The Plough Inn is also a five minute drive from the site, serving food and drinks.

A note from the site themselves...

Fossewold is a deeply personal project for me, growing up on the family's organic farm. After over 20 years of chemical-free farming and watching the land gently rewild, I opened the campsite last year as a way to share its peace and beauty in a thoughtful, low-impact way.

Since then, Fossewold has welcomed guests from all over, and I'm incredibly proud of the wonderful reviews they've left. The site remains true to its roots — simple, soulful, and full of heart — offering space to slow down, breathe deeply, and feel truly at home in nature.

Nature lovers can enjoy exploring scenic walking trails nearby, including Batsford Arboretum and Garden Centre and the National Trust - Dover Hill, both a ten minute drive away. A little further, within 25 minutes, you can visit National Trust - Snowshill Manor and Garden and the charming Birdland Park and Gardens.

Step into a miniature world at The Model Village (20 minutes), where you'll find a replica of a traditional Cotswold village with tiny gardens. Next door, the Cotswold Motoring Museum and Toy Collection offers a look at vintage cars and historic toys.

For a family day out, head to Fairytale Farm (25 minutes) or visit All Things Wild (20 minutes) with farm animals and a dinosaur-themed train ride.
