Peaceful and secluded, Tobacconist Farm is an adult-only site located on the edge of the village Stroud, Gloucestershire. It is the ideal site to pitch up in the countryside and enjoy a cracking campfire. Dogs are welcome, and you're just a stroll from a lovely Cotswolds market town, with all of the AONB at your fingertips. Stunning walks start on Michinhampton's protected rolling hills and green spaces. A pub is within a short walk too.

A lovely little site. Clean toilet facilities with hot showers. Just a stroll away from a great pub, cafe, fish and chip shop, grocery shop and pretty church. Very welcoming and informative host is Lucy. There are Donkeys too. Loved it! Perfect for a stop over, but also great for a base to explore the wider area 👍

Really enjoyed our three night stay here. New facility block, disabled access to two toilets and showers and always spotlessly clean. Adult only and dogs very welcome with a small dog run. Easy 10 min walk to the centre of Minchinhampton and I would really recommend the Amalfi tea room which also allows dogs. We will return. The weather was not so good when we were there, but the site dried out very quickly as it's a chalk based grass field.

Friendly welcome - only wanted to book two nights, but we had to book three, but really good value anyway. The host loaned us a fire pit as compensation which was generous. Really clean facilities, plenty of hot water. Nice and quiet, good local places to eat and drink. Thanks for a lovely stay - would come again.

This is a lovely campsite. Peaceful and relaxed. Stone's throw from the village centre with a great cafe and pub. With a 20 min walk, you're on the common with some fabulous walking and view points 👌

An excellent campsite, the scenery and location is the best I've been to. The owners are very helpful and professional. William, the proprietor, was always very helpful and caring towards us. The showers and toilets are of a high standard to. I strongly recommend this campsite.

Stayed for a couple of nights to visit Westonbirt Arboretum, it seemed to be the only site open in late October. The location is excellent, Minchinhampton is a nice little town with lots of walks across the common etc, and 5 minutes walk from the site. Crown pub is good. Field sloping, pitches level, and each pitch has water and EHU. Well spaced pitches. Facilities really clean, well maintained. We were greeted on arrival and everything, including local walks, pubs etc was explained. To get onto the site, you drive through a fairly untidy yard with a variety of converted vans, old caravans etc. To be honest, we found it a bit off-putting, particularly at £30 a night.

There had been a lot of rain so the grass did tear up a bit and we couldn't use the ramps but it was reasonably flat anyway. Toilets/showers/kitchen area at the bottom of the field seemed nice and clean. Close to village centre, not a lot there and the bus service is a bit lacking. It served our purpose.

Lovely two nights here - the host chap was lovely and super helpful. Pitch was great - electricity and water and even though we've had a week of rain, the grass pitch was fine. Walks around it are great and just 5 mins on foot to the pub. Lovely! Only downside, we thought it looked a bit of a mess when you drive in with old caravans and old fire pits but it was totally fine once in the field. We will stay again!

We were welcomed enthusiastically by Lucy and she quickly showed us to our pitch. She explained the facilities and told us not to worry about the recent heavy rain fall as the site drains quickly and efficiently (as it did). We also brought our car as we were staying in the motorhome but soon found that Minchinhampton is well served by buses. We had a lovely time.

We had a great stay at Tobacconist Farm with friends. We were in our campervans, so nice and cosy when the weather closed in. The owners are very welcoming and the facilities are excellent, very modern and clean. We loved looking at the donkeys. Despite some heavy rain, our pitch drained well and we were able to exit and access the campsite without difficulty. Located on the outskirts of Minchinhampton, we were very handy for visits to The Crown, open in the village after 8 years of closure, the corner shop and the café/bakery (excellent coffee, cake and breakfasts). Thank you, we will return.

This was the first time for me to use my new campervan with 3 dogs. I can't fault this park, my experience from start to finish was excellent. Lucy made me feel very welcome and was very informative. I will definitely use this park again and I know my dogs will want to go back too.

We found the campsite very well laid out, and clean, and the service was helpful. Nice convenient little wooded area for dog exercise works very well. Poo bags and bin provided. Very quiet site, but a convenient 6 minute walk to a lovely little town with nice places to eat, and amazing walks. We will return!

Enjoyed a lovely one night stay here in early October. Even when full, this site wouldn't feel crowded. Lovely, peaceful vibe. Heated, clean, comprehensive facilities. A friendly welcome and escort to our pitch. Wheel blocks, fire pit, picnic table, donkeys in a field next door. A few minutes walk into the village, past wonderful allotments, for tasty dinner and a pint at The Crown. Perfect site for exploring Minchinhampton and other nearby commons and walks. I'd recommend!

We received a warm welcome to this lovely site set within a 5 minute walk of Minchampton. The facilities were very clean and the pitches afforded good privacy. The town has a great pub and coffee shop and the local area had some great walks.

First time to Minchinhampton and what a lovely pace. The campsite is a 2 minute walk to village & its coffee shop, shops & a pub (lovely pub but on the expensive side!) Few more minutes & you are on to the commons, so perfect for walking. We also did a longer walk in to Stroud along the Cotswolds canal to the farmer's market. The campsite is lovely & spacious with a great toilet/shower block, fire baskets, picnic tables and lovely owners :)

A peaceful location on the edge of the village. Ideal for walking into the village, only a couple of minutes, and also east to walk to the common and beyond for fantastic views. Facilities very clean. Would stay again.
