Set within the grounds of Beechen Stables, the site offers two luxury safari lodges for the ultimate family retreat. The tents are equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay including cosy beds, log burners, fully equipped kitchens and al fresco dining areas!

About Beechen Glamping
Located just a few minutes walk from Bishops Waltham, this family and dog friendly glamping site is set within the grounds of Beechen Stables, whose livestock include free-range chickens, geese, goats, lambs and horses. The two safari lodge tents are built on raised wooden platforms, well insulated from the ground and each sleeping up to eight people. There's plenty of space inside and outside for ball games and a BBQ, great for al fresco cooking. Hazel has an internal footprint of 6m x 11.5m, with a large living and cooking area, one king-size double and a separate triple bunk room. A luxury hot shower and flushing toilet is also incorporated, while a covered veranda offers space to dine and relax. Hawk Lodge is a two-storey tent with an internal footprint of 7.6m x 5.4m and is extremely flexible for larger families. There are two king-size doubles, as well as an extra floor to sleep up to four more. Again, there's a luxury shower and flushing toilet, as well as a covered veranda. Both come with a well-equipped kitchen area, hot and cold running water, a dining table, an electric two-burner hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is also electricity for led lighting and plug sockets to charge your phones so you can stay connected. Dogs are welcome to join you on your holiday, just please ensure they stay on a lead. The whole site can be booked too if you're looking to stay as a group. Please note, bedding is not provided.
Beechen Glamping is open from 29/03 to 30/10.
Both units are entirely self contained. Free range eggs can be purchased on-site, and free range goat meat can also be ordered.
For a drink or something to eat, The Bunch Of Grapes is just a ten minute walk away. The Co-operative Food is also just a ten minute walk away for all of your essentials.

Really lovely place to glamp. The tent itself was brilliant, the children were amazed and loved that it was something different, having the animals right next door was definitely a bonus. Recommend you bring things to do for outdoors to keep you busy. Owner also very welcoming and friendly, overall couldn't complain and would definitely return.

Things to do on site and in the Southampton area
Situated on the edge of the South Downs National Park, this is the perfect area for walking and cycling. Bishop's Waltham, a vibrant market town, is within a ten minute walk, offering a range of shops including a butcher and baker, as well as cafés and restaurants.
For family days out, Paultons Park, Home of Peppa Pig World is just a 30 minute drive away. Ride on log flumes and fun themed rides and kids can even meet the characters in real life!
If you're looking for a spot of shopping Gunwharf Quays is just half an hour from the site. Mooch around the outlets or even head up Spinnaker Tower to take in the glorious view of the South Coast.
