This site is a family-friendly escape in the heart of the Wye Valley with countryside views. Close to the England/Wales border, you will be within a 30 minute drive of top sights and attractions like Hay Castle, Brecon Canal Basin, Hereford and the Black Mountains (Y Mynyddoedd Duon). Tent campers can pitch up on electric grass tent pitches, each measuring 8m x 10m, with space for up to six people. There are also more electric grass pitches measuring 8m x 5m for tents, roof and trailer tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes up to 8m in length. For roof and trailer tents, motorhomes, caravans and campervans, there are electric hardstanding and grass pitches, each 5m x 10m. These also include a 16 amp hook up with grass areas in between. Glampers can opt for the cosy Noddfa shepherd's hut, ideal for couples. Sleeping two, it includes a double bed, with shared facilities close by. Bedding and towels can be brought along or hired from the site. The hut has a handy kitchenette with a fridge, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and cooking equipment, along with a table and chairs. Guests can relax with a TV, electric heating and WiFi, with gas and electricity included. Outside, there's a private patio with outdoor furniture, and car parking right next to the hut. The famous book town of Hay-on-Wye is within a 30 minute walk, while the world-known Hay Festival site is just a ten minute countryside stroll away. Guests can also reach the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) in around five minutes by car, perfect for walking, cycling and outdoor adventures. BBQs are permitted as long as they are kept raised off the ground, but open fires are not allowed. Dogs are very welcome on the pitches, with up to three dogs allowed per pitch. Please note, the shepherd's hut is pet free.
