About the site


This simple site is an ideal getaway for those wanting to get away from the hustle of everyday life. With basic amenities and a strong, environmentally friendly ethos, this site allows you to disconnect and enjoy the local nature. Located 30 minutes from Gloucester and Dick Whittington Park, a kids activity haven. The site offers ten non electric grass pitches suitable for tents and some small campervans. There is a range of glamping accommodations to choose from. The Morgana hut sleeps four, with one raised double bed and two smaller single beds, best suited for smaller adults or younger children. The hut includes internal lights, plug sockets for charging, a picnic bench and a fire pit for cooking outside. The Zena hut is hobbit inspired with its round door and windows. The hut sleeps four with two small double beds and includes internal lights, plug sockets for charging, a picnic bench and a fire pit for cooking outside. There are three shepherd's huts onsite, Barry, Graham and Knock Knock. The Barry shepherd's hut sleeps two with a queen sized bed and includes internal lighting, plug sockets, a picnic table, a fire pit and a private veranda. The Graham and Knock Knock shepherd's huts sleep the two to three people. The Graham shepherd's hut has a raised double bed with an optional single mattress to be provided that fits under the double bed. This single bed is best suited for young children. The Knock Knock has a small double bed and the option for a single bed to be added. Both the Graham and Knock Knock shepherd's huts include internal lights, plug sockets for charging, a picnic bench and a fire pit for cooking outside. The Hunter cabin sleep four people, with one queen-sized double bed and two single beds. The cabin includes internal lights, plug sockets for charging, a picnic bench and a fire pit for cooking outside. Finally, the Pendragon Cabin is the largest of the accommodations, sleeping up to six people. There are two triple bunk beds, a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on the top, best suited for smaller adults and younger children. The cabin includes a wood burner, a dining area, a picnic table and a fire pit. All cooking, serving and eating utensils are provided by the site for all glamping accommodations. Bedding and towels are not included in any of the glamping accommodations, so please bring pillows, sleeping bags or sheets and duvets. Shared facilities are nearby for all pitches and accommodations. After a day exploring the area, you can try your hand at cooking over the fire pits and enjoy your meal in the sheltered communal dining area. There are homemade brownies, pasties, local bacon, sausages, burgers, eggs and bread available to buy from the site. Dogs are allowed to join you for your stay. Open fires and BBQs are not permitted onsite. Guests must use the fire pits provided by the site.

There is a compost toilet, a regular toilet and a shower block with hot water. There is a sheltered communal dining area on the site with tables and seating. Wood, homemade brownies, pasties, local bacon, sausages, burgers, eggs and bread are available to buy from the site. It is available to buy from the site for the provided fire pits and the log burner.

The closest shop to the site is a Co-op Food, a 15 minute drive away. The Walwyn Arms pub is the closest pub to the site, a 30 minute walk or a five minute drive, serving food and drink every day.

The site is sandwiched between Wye Valley National Landscape (15 minutes) where you can find scenic drives, guided walks, river trips, and wildlife viewing, and Malvern Hills National Landscape AONB (30 minutes) which is ideal for walking, hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and has the British Camp Hill Fort.

If you're looking for a day out in the city, Gloucester is 30 minute drive from the site where you can visit the Gloucester Cathedral, museums, docks and much more!
