A peaceful spot ideal for those wanting to escape the rush of everyday life and immerse themselves in nature, just a ten minute drive from Welwyn Garden City with train routes into London. This small site is home to two furnished bell tents, each with a double bed (bedding and towels included), seating, a kettle, and a small kitchen corner. Outside, enjoy a BBQ, fire pit, and outdoor furniture. Set on a working farm surrounded by open fields, guests can meet friendly animals including chickens, pigs, and Highland cows, and even collect fresh eggs daily. A 15 minute stroll leads to local pubs serving hearty meals, while Tewin (10 minutes) offers Tewinbury Nature Reserve, shops, and cafes. Keen walkers, hikers, and cyclists are well positioned for nearby trails, with Danesbury Park and Mardley Heath (10 minutes), the Brocket Hall circular walk (20 minutes), and Broxbourne Woods (25 minutes) all within easy reach. Sorry, this site is dog free. BBQs and fires are allowed onsite. Please note that if you are making a fire, the fuel, logs, and coal have to be purchased on site.
