Set just outside the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there is plenty to explore. Both tents sleep six with electric blankets on each bed to keep you cosy. About the site

Set in the 'Garden of England', this pretty glamping site offers a relaxing retreat where guests can still enjoy their home comforts whilst experiencing the great outdoors. The site welcomes both families and pets so the whole family can join in on the fun! Exclusive hire is also available, perfect for group getaways. The site has just two safari tents both measuring over 700 sqft with modern furnishings to make your stay that extra bit more special. Sleeping six, there is a king-sized bed, two singles and a king-sized cabin bed, quality linen and an electric blanket are provided for each. Each also has a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for cooking up a storm! The spacious living area has comfy seating and a toasty woodburner for those chillier evenings. For alfresco cooking, there is a two tier BBQ for each safari tent as well as a spacious veranda with a table and chairs as well as an outdoor table. There is a fire pit for each safari tent where campers to sit around, gaze up and share stories! The site also has an outdoor pergola perfect for dining in the outdoors. The site is happy to organise food and activities from local companies for parties and group bookings, such as weddings, hen parties and birthdays. A welcome pack is left for you with coffee, tea, sugar, milk, bread, butter, cereal, jam, biscuits, marshmallows and sticks. BBQ packs are available to book as an extra too! If you require more space you can also book out a bell tent as an extra bedroom. Inside is a single and double bed with bedding and towels provided. Please get in touch with the site if you would like to add this to your booking. The site is set on a farm so you are welcome to say hello to the horses or help collect the hen's eggs! Surrounded by nature you can spot an abundance of wildlife onsite, including badgers and ducklings around the pond! Bring the pup! This site allows up to two dogs per booking but please keep them on a lead at all times. If you are bringing a dog please book the "Dog Pack" as an extra to your booking, this includes a freshly washed dog bed, bowls, crate and an 8m leash. BBQs are only permitted in the provided BBQs. Please no BBQs on the veranda. Campfires are allowed in the provided fire pits, but not when there are drought conditions due to safety.

Gravel Pit Farm is open from 07/03 to 10/11 in 2025 and from 01/03 to 15/11 in 2026. Stay from £200/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

This was a great place for bank holiday weekend break. None of us are campers, so we appreciated having a bathroom, kitchen and an additional out door toilet. The BBQ was great and the covered outdoor dining table was really cute. There being an indoor wood stove felt really cozy and spending a night by the campfire was amazing. This was a really relaxing trip and a lovely way to get out of London for a few days.

Wonderful stay, would highly recommend!

We just arrived home from the best stay! Annabelle & Simon are the most loveliest couple. This was our first glamping trip (we aren't campers) but this experience has made us want to go again next year. The beds were great and your even given heated blankets for the colder evenings. Every night we sat around the fire pit with a lovely bonfire which we all enjoyed! The kids loved being able to ride on the pedal cart that was left for children to use. Our girls loved staying in the 'cupboard bed'. We went on little walks to see the horses and even got to stroke them. We even got to see the cute little puppies. The kids loved being able to go and check to see if the chickens had laid eggs for their breakfast. This place is 100% family friendly. You have so much space to play activities the one we played the most was rounders. The kids were outside from morning until night. They also loved sitting around the bonfire melting marshmallows and eating s'more's. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and really hope we get to go next year. Thank you Annabelle & Simon.
