We were only here one night as a stopover en route to Cornwall, but what a fantastic site. It is absolutely beautiful, immaculate garden areas and exceptional clean toilet facilities.
We would also recommend the Italian restaurant Tiggis a short walk away, the food is delicious.

Thank you.
Your wonderful comments are really appreciated. It does take a lot of maintenance to keep the park looking so lovely. There are only two of us running the park and we like to think we go the extra mile to make everything so lovely.
We are incredibly lucky to have the two restaurants next door. It's so convenient for campers especially if they are just having one night to break their journey.

Excellent, small site, very tidy, showers & toilets spotlessly clean. Adults only means it's very quiet on site. Walter is very friendly and helpful.
Two drawbacks though: noisy dogs on nearby property tended to bark a lot. Also, fairly close to a busy road. These are not the fault of Northwood as they are beyond their control.
We will visit again, without a doubt.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us such a lovely review.
Walter goes above and beyond to make everybody feel special and have a lovely stay.
Thank you for your lovely comments, and we appreciate the fact that you enjoyed your stay.
We are situated next to the a 59, which is at peak times a busy road, but it does give very easy access to the Ribble Valley and the M6 motorway .
As you have very sensibly, pointed out anything that happens beyond the perimeters of the park is out of our control.
Absolute little gem of a site.
We stayed for 1 night in between Christmas and New Year. On arrival, we were greeted by Walter who provided an info pack of the local area and amenities on-site. We were then shown to our pitch which was immaculate, in fact, the whole place was. Walter couldn't do enough to help us get settled and answer all our questions as it was our campervan's maiden voyage following conversion.
The toilets were spotlessly clean as were the showers which take £1 coins so, take some change.
We went to the local Indian for a takeaway which is a 5 min walk away. Both my Wife and say said it was the best Indian we've ever had, and we've had few!
Will definitely be returning soon.
