Set with its back to the woods is the delightful campsite at Seven Acre Farm, which also offers cosy pods with electric and TVs. Located seven miles outside the ancient and historic city of Lincoln, it feels like being in the middle of nowhere. The site is both family and dog friendly. Leisure fishing is available and a peaceful stay is assured.
Seven Acre Farm has peace and tranquility written all over it. The site is located next to Fiskerton Nature Reserve in an SSSI, so everything is pristine and protected. As soon as you turn in, you'll get the impression of being on holiday and at peace with the world. It's heaven for hardened bird watchers or amateurs alike. Grass and hardstanding pitches are available and all have electric. The lake stretches over half an acre in front of you on the hardstanding pitches, perfect for that first cup of tea looking over the water. Or pitch up near the animals for those who prefer the nature. For those not looking for a pitch there are handy pods which provide a hassle free stay. These sleep four and have a TV inside, morning essentials like a kettle and toaster, plus a fridge-freezer and microwave. Access to shared facilities close by.
Open all year
You can choose to pitch on hardstanding next to the lake, or on grass in the camping field. Caravans and motorhomes only.

The site is very close to the Water Rail Way route, which follows the River Witham between Lincoln and Boston. It's a mainly traffic free route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders and passes through Bardney and onto Woodall Spa, where there are loos, a cafe and The Kinema in the Woods. Boston is 17 miles away.
The site is only seven miles outside the ancient and historic city of Lincoln too, with its shopping, castle (which houses one of four remaining copies of the Magna Carta) and cathedral.
Clear nights are a feast for star gazers, and there's a chance of an impromptu air display - being so close to the home of the legendary Red Arrows. Flying buffs will also appreciate the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) Visitor Centre at Coningsby.
Skegness, Mablethorpe, Sutton-on-Sea and Ingoldmells are within 40-50 minutes drive.
