About Stamford Meadows Glamping

Set in a private fruit orchard and set beside a river, this glampsite offers relaxing surroundings with 30 acres of meadows. The two yurts, Orchard and Walnut, are handcrafted and kept toasty with a wood-burning stove. It sits within a sturdy Ash frame and offers the comfort of a king-size bed with bedding provided, sleeping up to four with an extra two singles. Likewise, the Wild Thyme cabin comes with the comforts of a queen sized bed, a single futon and bedding. Sleeping up to three, the glamping cabin comes with cosy soft furnishings and even a pizza oven. Outside, the luxuries continue with private wood-fired hot tubs, covered kitchens, and bathrooms so you will have your own space and facilities. For an even deeper relaxation experience, the glamping site offers holistic treatments such as reflexology and aromatherapy massages. Available on request. Stamford itself is steeped in Georgian history (named the best place to live in the Midlands by the Sunday Times, no less) and is a ten minute walk from this base, or a little further is the town of Uppingham with lots of opportunities for browsing the shops.

Stamford Meadows Glamping is open from 01/01 to 28/08 and 09/09 to 31/12 in 2024 and from 02/01 to 31/12 in 2025.
