Set in private woodland 30 minutes' drive from the North Norfolk coast, the yurt is the perfect getaway for couples looking to escape the digital fog.

There are three private woods adjacent to the site, so you may hear other woodland owners enjoying their land for camping, however your woodland site is for your private use only.

The fully lined yurt has a double bed with fully sprung mattress (and all hypoallergenic bedding and linen provided), woodburner, outdoor fire pit, and battery with USB connections to charge up your devices. Solar lights and torches are also provided.

The yurt comes with BBQ coal, and a basket of wood, kindling and firelighters for one night to settle you in. Additional seasoned wood is available. There's also a cool box in the cooking shed, as well as a gas hob, small grill and cooking utensils. Fair Trade or organic tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, marshmallows and herbal teas are also provided free of charge.

The site is designed as a couples' escape and is not suitable for pets, parties, children - or more than two adults.

Although open all year round, weather may affect availability.

From Norwich, follow the B1149 (Holt Road) north to Saxthorpe, where you'll need to turn left onto Briston Road (B1354). Where the road forks, take a left onto Tithe Barn Lane, and then left again into Hellpit Lane. Continue as the road becomes Stone Road and then turn left and immediately right into Craymere Road.

There is a private solar powered hot shower and outdoor earth loo, as well as a porta potti inside the yurt.
The site is a mile from Briston which has a Co-op, butchers and bakers. The local pub is the Explorers (with WiFi). Melton Constable is half a mile from Briston and has fish and chips, as well as a Chinese takeaway.

One yurt set in private woodland, with double bed and bedding provided - and a wood burner for autumn and winter stays.

The Georgian market town of Holt is 6 miles (10 minutes) north, and from there you can access the North Norfolk Coast (about 30 minutes away).

The quaint, down to earth and beautiful market town of Reepham is 15 minute's drive, via Wood Dalling. The town has a selection of shops and eateries, as well as cycle hire and access to the Marriots Way cycle route.

Moor Farm Holiday Cottages at Foxley near Reepham have a private 10m heated pool and jacuzzi for hire - but this does get busy, so book in advance.

Once booked in, let us know what time you will arrive, we will arrange to meet you and chat about the site to check you are happy.

Check in time Monday to Friday is 5pm - 8pm. On Saturdays and Sundays check in times are from 1pm - 8pm.

Check out time is by 5pm Monday to Sunday. As per fire regulations, this site and yurt is for a max of two adults only.

Your stay may need to be altered if bad weather comes into play.

The area of woodland you have is soley for your use, however even though you won't see them, on the other side of the woodland there may be seasonal, volunteer workers called Woofers who need to sleep at night ready for planting the next day. This is why we have a social noise policy. Car steros, additional speakers or sound systems can not be used. We provide candles and lanterns for candles, please do not use naked flame on the site. You can use a fire pit though.

We provide a digital radio and batteries for you to use at a sociable and respectful level. Eating, smoking and drinking are to be done outside the yurt. We provide eco friendly washing up liquid and all utensils for cooking. We provide all bedding which is hypoallergenic.

Some mobile phone signals are limited. There is no electricity. It's recommended that you bring drinking water.
