Overlooking the Wensum Valley, this family friendly site offers a quiet stay just ten minutes from Dereham and 30 minutes from Norwich. Surrounded by open fields and scenic walking routes, it's an ideal spot for those looking to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. Guests can choose from non electric or electric grass pitches (10m x 10m) with a 16 amp hook up, suitable for tents, roof tents, trailer tents, touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Fully serviced grass pitches are also available. This is a great base for walkers and cyclists, with a selection of local footpaths nearby, including an entry point to Marriott's Way just ten minutes away. The Norfolk Broads can be reached within a 40 minute drive. For anglers, Swanton Morley Fishery is a 25 minute walk away, offering five lakes across 50 acres, with day passes available. Up to three dogs are welcome per pitch. BBQs are permitted, provided they are raised off the ground. Campfires are not allowed.

There is no shortage of things to explore nearby here, with plenty of walks right on the doorstep. Foxley Wood is just a ten minute drive away for a peaceful wander, while the Norfolk Broads can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Pensthorpe is also close by (15 minutes), a 700 acre mix of nature reserve and woodland, with walking trails and eco play areas to enjoy.

For family days out, The Bug Parc is only ten minutes away, while ROARR offers a full day of life-size dinosaurs, animal encounters, and an adventure playground.

Those who like nostalgia are within easy reach of several heritage railways, including the Mid Norfolk Railway, North Norfolk Railway, and Bure Valley Railway, all within a 40 minute drive.
