About the site

Set in the stunning Norfolk countryside, five minutes from the Norfolk Broads, this site offers a haven for family fun! Evolving from a craft destination, it now features an action-packed adventure farm where guests can meet a range of friendly animals, along with a shopping village celebrating local independent businesses, seasonal workshops, two cafes and much more. Campers can choose from spacious 10m x 10m grass pitches, with 11 non electric and 15 electric pitches available. For a cosier alternative, there are ten fully furnished 6m bell tents sleeping up to four guests, along with five larger Luna bell tents accommodating up to six people. Both include interior furniture, a table and chairs, an electric hook up, lighting and a handy welcome pack. The Luna bell tents feature two double beds and two singles, while the other bell tents include one double bed and two singles. Please note bedding isn't provided. Outside, guests can enjoy a picnic bench, a parasol and a fire pit. Those staying in the bell tents also receive access to the adventure farm, plus exclusive early morning entry to help feed the animals and after-hours exploring once the park has closed to the public. For campers, discounted tickets to the adventure farm can be purchased on arrival, allowing guests to meet and interact with the animals, as well as enjoy the train, mini golf, jumping pillows, adventure play, indoor soft play and sand play. During the school holidays, there will also be a dedicated camping host for check-ins, queries and organising fun games and activities for the kids (and adults too if they wish to join in!). Up to two dogs are welcome on pitches and in bell tents, so your furry friend can join in the fun too. Raised BBQs are welcome onsite, while open fires are only permitted in the site's own fire pits.

Wroxham Barns is open from 01/05 to 02/09. Pitches from £30/night for 2 people.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2024

Great stay, everyone was lovely and the facilities were great. You get what it says, a pitch with access to showers, lockers and a fridge to store a few bits in. Takeaways about 15 min away or 5 min drive to Wroxham and McDonald's. The hosts were lovely, the kids particularly loved playing and being with hosts Max and Izzy, who were both lovely. Great service at the café also, everyone on site was lovely.

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (All Inclusive)Aug 2024

I can fully recommend this campsite for families. My husband and I took our two Daughters and four grandchildren for a two night stay in our own bell tent. The fun park and farm entry was included in the price. The communal kitchen had fridge, freezer, toasters, kettle and microwave. It was all nice and clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful, they even organised feeding the animals and games for the children in the camping field. We had a great time.

Best campsite for young kids, a fantastic weekend

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches (All Inclusive)Apr 2023

Wroxham Barns was such an amazing holiday for myself and my two toddlers. I was nervous about camping as a solo parent but this was the best place to try out the experience. Included in our price was unlimited entry into the junior farm and indoor play as well as the funfair. The toilet/shower facilities were very clean and spacious. There is a communal area with many sinks for washing dishes or preparing food if you wanted. The fridge and freezer was useful for preparing picnics and freezing our iceblocks for cheaper days out. The location is amazing for Bewilderwood, Roar Dinosaur Park, beach trips and soo much more. The staff were so super friendly and helpful. I honestly really highly recommend this campsite for anyone with kids or looking for somewhere with plenty of local attractions (of any age). I can't wait to return.
