Well run, spacious campsite with large pitches and good facilities. Plenty of cycling routes and all the Sherwood Pines outdoor activities right next door.

What an awesome place. Super clean and modern. We did suffer some winds this morning but managed to get tent done on 50 mph winds. We went with our in-laws and the staff managed to pitch us together. They were always about cleaning or checking facilities. Toilets and showers again very clean but also nice and warm and roomy. A wee chair to put bits on whilst showering and they stayed dry. There was also family shower rooms. Plenty to do with bike trails. And walks. Great for adults and kids of all ages. There was a pizza van which also did gyros and the kids loved it!

Excellent site, the best we have stayed on although, with no young children, this site is excellent for families. We stayed with our grown children in a 3 tent group. Shower block spotless. We would definitely stay here again. Only negative was the smell that was in the air. We camped on the top field, so may have been from farm fields nearby, but the site is excellent although very busy never, felt overcrowded at all.
Excellent! Clean and friendly

We were pitched by the park which was perfect for kids. All of the facilities (showers and pot washing) were immaculate. Play park was closed off by staff at 21:30, so quiet time. Staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Site shop not well stocked with basics, bread and milk. Not too much of an issue, as Co-op is a 10 min drive. Would highly recommend for families, we had a blast!

Great campsite with lots of options on where you can camp. Staff really friendly. Facilities were kept clean and the park was a hive of activity for the kids. The opportunity is the shop, we kept having to go off site as the shop simply doesn't offer what you need. But all in in all a great stay and no doubt we will be back.

The site was lovely and peaceful, just what we needed to unwind. I would have liked a few more gifts ideas in the shop though.

Well maintained site, beautiful location, large and clean bathroom facilities. Plenty of water and waste disposal points. Staff friendly and helpful, who take you to your pitch and help guide you in (I needed it first time caravanner).

The site is very lovely. Situated in the middle of the forest therefore fresh air guaranteed. There is plenty to do like walking/hiking, bike ride, go apes and much more. Honestly we stayed only a weekend but had so much fun and memories to cherish, would recommend this camp site for any age.

A great campsite with everything you’d expect. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and in working order. Good location for outdoor activities and as a base for exploring the surrounding area.

My main problem was that I should have parked closer closer to the facilities. Do you have an allotted area for disabled people - I should have asked! My fault. Also, the weather was awful!
Friendly and tidy

This was our first time camping and we believe that it was great first place to camp. Sherwood Pines had all the amenities we needed and even had a dog wash in case the weather got poor. The toilets and showers were clean and all usable. Sherwood Pines' walking trails were all really good. There is a cafe and a little shop not far from the campsite too. There were also other things which looked great that you can keep busy with.

Lovely stay. Great facilities for young families. Chez and Sarah were absolutely lovely when they greeted us upon arrival. Only criticism is the waste point was a little close to our pitch and we could smell it at times, and the grass could have been cut a little more consistently, which resulted in uncomfortable clumps under our backs whilst camping. But I'm being picky! Otherwise a great place to stay!

We visited as a family group (16 of us between the ages of 3 and 68). The site is really lovely nestled with the forest, with well sized pitches. We all managed to pitch together which was perfect. Toilet/facilities block was very modern and always clean. Lots of toilets available and liked the addition of a family bathroom and locker room. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a small shop on site and they did also have visiting vendors, such as coffee truck, pizza truck etc. Well placed for exploring the forest, lots of walks and bike trails. Would definitely visit again.

This was our first time at Sherwood and won't be the last. Site is absolutely immaculate in the most gorgeous setting. The staff were all really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Toilet and shower blocks all cleaned with plenty of cubicles. All in all, we had the most amazing weekend and can't wait to book again. Both of our dogs loved every minute of it.

Fantastic site, facilities were so clean and tidy. The only thing I could say is the grass between the caravans and on the field was a bit too long and could do with a cut, but apart from that, everything was spot on. Thanks, our family will be back to visit again.

Very nice site, lots of activities in the surrounding forest, especially if you have children (any age). It was our first trip so we did not take our bikes, which was a shame. Great network of tracks for bikes, more for mountain bikes but a lot of it would be fine on a 'normal' bike, perhaps not an expensive road bike.

It was our first time camping and Sherwood Pines has set a high standard for our next one. The facilities were great. Spotless toilets and washing area. Spacious. Doesn't feel too crowded.
