What a beautiful site! Our new favourite. Loved the location, The wash room facilities were great, super fun play ground for the children. Nice amount of space on each pitch, we loved that you could pick your spot as such. We had a hardstanding with electric and there was a great selection of spots. Can't wait to be back in the future. Thank you.

Our first stay at Sherwood Pines as it was a convenient halfway point to meet up with friends. A lovely site with clean facilities and large pitches. The campsite was at full capacity when we arrived yet our pitches were spacious and we didn't feel on top of each other. Carol greeted us with a kind friendly smile and lovely enthusiasm. Her recommendation for the fish and chips were spot on too! Lovely walks and cycle trails right from our 'front door'. We would definitely recommend this site and will hope to return again soon.

Fantastic stay, Great location. I walked straight into the forest with my dog. Everything was there, all the activities like Go Ape and other play areas. There were cycling and walking trails, and cafe & toilets.

Brilliant site, shower & toilet facilities really clean, play area for the kids etc. Meet & greet by reception was helpful, with us being shown to our pitch by a staff member on their bike! This was our first time in our caravan and would stay again!

Fantastic site, well maintained by the friendly and ever-helpful staff. Facilities are excellent, including a dog wash and bike wash with some tools if needed. Ideal for making the most of Sherwood Pines and Clumber Park. Sherwood Forest and Edwinstowe Village are on the doorstep.

Site staff were extremely helpful, friendly and well organised. Even though I arrived after office open hours, the staff helped me to my pitch and provided all details needed with no hassle. Site is very well maintained and the facilities are excellent, with plenty enough for everyone. Location is perfect (I mean it's always going to be perfect, it's Sherwood Pines!) Would highly recommend to anyone!
Fantastic staff, make a great site even better!

We stayed at this site when the snow fell (forecast said a light covering, turned out to be a foot of the crispy white stuff!) This looked like a picture postcard in the forest setting, however not ideal for new caravanners like ourselves. Lesson learned, whatever the forecast says, assume the worst. That said, the staff at this site could not have been more helpful to us and other people that had been caught out by mother nature. All were out gritting, assisting vehicles to leave in any way they could, whilst being reassuring and making sure everyone was relaxed. They made it clear there was no rush to leave and they would rather people were safe than rush off site by the advertised time. Due to the site being quite secluded at the back end of the forest, and the internal roads being slippy, my car was not having it when we tried to pull our van to the main road. The staff were great, and even towed us with a tractor to a place that was safe to start our journey. I honestly can't thank them enough! The site itself is beautiful, surrounded by woodland with easy access to all the walks and activities at Sherwood Pines via a woodland trail that in itself is a lovely walk. I honestly cannot wait to go back here in good weather. Facilities are modern and clean and everything is conveniently located. My only worry is that as we continue on our caravanning journey, a lot of sites are going to struggle to live up to this one for us!
Wonderful place with very friendly staff!

A great site in the heart of the forest. There are cheaper options but this was the first trip away with our rescue dog and it was great to be able to walk straight into the forest for long walks. Site was busy but toilet block was always clean. Staff very helpful. We hope to visit again soon.

A peaceful park in the middle of the forest. We only stopped for one night on our way through to somewhere else but have decided we will definitely go back.

My family and I stayed at this campsite for only one night. We really wish that we had booked more. Facilities are unlike any other we've stayed at. Laundry, hot showers, specialised dog washing facilities… this site has it all! Will definitely be returning for another visit next year. We particularly enjoyed the fact that it was so child friendly. There is a park directly inside the campsite so we didn't necessarily have to make her own fun. Staff were extremely helpful as well.
Great site for anyone but especially kids

I booked Sherwood Pines to take my 3 year old grandson camping for the first time. His daddy came too thankfully! He loved it. Loved the play park, the setting, even the washing up! We walked through the forest to the go ape centre and another play park. He loved that too! The site is very clean, safe and well managed. Facilities are all you could want. If you've got kids that just want to run and play, ride a bike etc, this will do you very well.
Peaceful, relaxing time

Good size pitches. Very clean. Efficient check in with very friendly and helpful staff. The staff took you to your pitch on a bike and explained everything you needed to know. Reception has a small shop but I felt needed to stock more of the daily essentials rather than toys and gifts (i.e. bread, milk etc) as there are no shops within walking distance.
Memory time!

We were off to the side in a small bay, not in the main camping area. It was great, great to be close to nature. We'll be back for sure.
