About the site
Surrounded by a backdrop of pine trees from the Cairngorms National Park and on the grounds of a hotel, this family run site is an ideal scenic getaway for those wanting to explore the Scottish Highlands. Welcoming families, couples, and solo travellers, you can enjoy a range of onsite amenities, including a play area, EV charging, a communal BBQ and more. Aviemore is also a five minute walk away with traditional pubs, shops, and activities, including G2 Outdoor Activity and Mike's Bikes Aviemore for mountain biking. This spacious site is home to 68 hardstanding pitches with an optional electric hook up and TV aerial point for trailer tents, caravans, motorhomes, campervans, and RVs. You will also find a range of equipped ensuite chalets, apartments, and a lodge hotel onsite. The site is a popular destination for cyclists tackling the National Cycle Route 7 (Lochs and Glens Way). Craigellachie Nature Reserve is situated at the foot of the site, where you can enjoy wildlife and crag walks, as well as peaceful views around the River Spey. A 20 minute walk will take you to Rothiemurchus for watersports at Loch an Eilein, with animals, and a castle ruin to explore. Dogs are welcome onsite. Please ensure they are kept on their lead. Campfires are not allowed here. BBQs are only permitted in the communal BBQ space.

Site rules and policies
*Check-in is available from 1pm - 9pm. If you wish to arrive after 9pm, please contact the reception directly so that arrangements can be made.
*Check out is by 11am on the day of departure.
*Vehicles must not exceed 10mph.
*One car is permitted per pitch.
*Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
*The site does not accept hen, stag or similar parties.
*Smoking is not permitted in any areas of the service block.
*Noise levels must be kept to a minimum at all times.
