Glampods
Glampods is a family run business, offering a beautifully kitted out glamping pod to sleep five, ideally placed for the North Coast 500. The pod includes all the home comforts you could wish for with underfloor heating, free parking, free WiFi and plenty of mod cons. It's the only pod on site so it's very secluded, perfect for cyclists looking to hit the trails or whisky fans (the Malt Whisky Trail is within 30 mins).

About Glampods
The pod is situated in a field with superb views and wildlife all around, and can be found in the area of Mosstowie which is a 10 minute drive from Elgin. It overlooks the owners' charming pet highland cows, which live in the field next door. A pair of friendly Valias Blacknose sheep are also on site. The pod was hand built to an exceptionally high standard and contains a double bed, a single bunk bed and a king size luxury sofa bed. A travel cot and high chair are also available but please bring your own bedding for the cot. All bedding is supplied, too. On top of that it has underfloor heating, a seating area and a dining area with table and five chairs, plus a smart TV for those cosy nights in. It has ample storage for luggage and clothes etc. Within the en-suite there is a toilet, a large shower and a small hand basin. A hairdryer is also available and towels are included for your use. The kitchen area consists of a large oven, large fridge, two ringed cooker, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and toastie machine. It also offers all the essentials like pots, plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, chopping board, grater, mixing bowls, utensils and frying pans. Coffee, tea and sugar are also supplied. Outside there is a seating area so you can take in the view, with decking, a BBQ and a fire pit. Be sure to say hello to the friendly onsite Highland cows! Sorry, pets cannot stay.

This base is about 10 mins from Elgin, which is full of shops, restaurants, cafes and sports facilities.

Had a brilliant stay here this week. Pod lovely and everything you’d expect and more. Perfect set up for couples and larger groups, everything you could need under one roof. Alan and Ruth were extremely friendly and showed us round their cottage area where we got to feed to highland cows and see the sheep. A really top notch relaxing stay. Highly recommend.

What an amazing find, were booked in for 2 nights but were lucky enough to stay for 4. The pod had everything you could need, the standard was extremely high, would definitely recommend and would love to come back in the future.

Things to do on site and in the Elgin area
The best way to travel to and from Glampods is by car.
Just five minutes away is Elgin with its cinema and leisure centre for rainy days. There's also Pinz Bowling, a great golf club, a cathedral and good play options with woodland walks and soft play areas. Make a stop at Moray Motor Museum or Spynie Palace!
It's just 30 mins to the Speyside Whisky Trail, the perfect way to get a taste of Scotland. Eight malt whisky distilleries and a barrel maker's premises make up this incredible route. Seven of the eight distilleries are in production and operational, whilst the Dallas Dhu distillery is a historic distillery. Lots of great places to fill your tummy too.
Harbours and beautiful beaches with stunning scenery are dotted along this stretch of coast, perfect for photography. From a number of viewpoints you can see dolphins, or get an ice cream and have a stroll.
Coastal villages offer boat trips, fishing trips and watersports like kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding. Roseisle, Hopeman, Burghead, Lossiemouth and Findhorn are all less than 15mins away.
