Family run and maintained to a high standard, Barncroft Caravan Site is a peaceful, adult only touring site set in a great location for access to country parks and attractions throughout Shropshire and Wales. With a spacious entranceway, double hardstanding pitches, immaculate facilities and free wifi, relax in a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds whilst enjoying the beautiful ornamental gardens and extensive seasonal floral displays.

About the site

Beautifully landscaped, this three acre site in rural Shropshire provides guests with a more secluded countryside getaway. With easy access to Shropshire, Barncroft is the ideal base to explore whilst allowing you to kick back and enjoy the tranquility of an adult only retreat. Complimenting the large woodlands adjacent to the site, Barncroft has taken pride in planting trees and shrubs around the park to create havens for local wildlife and the small number of pitches allow for a quieter site without any worry of overcrowding. A double width entrance, accessed from the main road, leads to a secure automated gate only accessible to residents. Hard-surfaced driveways lead into the beautifully maintained site and towards double pitches with electric hook ups, plus room for an awning and your vehicle alongside. There are a number of seasonal pitches available. Rallies welcome.

Facilities include heated toilet and shower block with separate ladies/gents showers, disabled access and an outdoor pot washing area.

A short walk away from the site will take you to the popular Talbot Inn serving fantastic food and ales. In the village of Ruyton X1 Towns you can buy newspapers, groceries etc and there's a post office and a selection of local pubs. More pubs, takeaways and shops can be found at Baschurch (around two miles away).

The local towns of Oswestry and Shrewsbury are within easy reach of the site, with main road links to the rest of Shropshire and mid/north Wales less than two miles away. Public transport is situated just outside the site entrance.
