About Old Oaks Touring Park

Located right in the heart of Somerset, The Old Oaks is the ideal base exploring the county's many treasures with beautifully maintained pitches and grounds. Whether you enjoy walking, cycling, fishing or just lying back and soaking up the peace and quiet, Old Oaks could you just the place for you. It's the place for special holiday memories, offering something for everyone! Spread over 15 acres, the touring park and glampsite comprises five paddocks, ranging from 11 to 27 pitches or glamping accommodation in each. Having been developed in stages over the years, each paddock has its own unique character, but universal standards of quality. Larger than average, the park's level and landscaped pitches are divided by trees and shrubs, backing onto mature hedges. This ensures a sense of privacy and space as well as providing a rich nature habitat for birds and other small animals. There's a range of pitching options, from fully serviced premier and superior pitches to standard electric pitches. Or for those who enjoy the outdoor life but don't fancy sleeping under canvas, there are six unique cabins for glamping, four of which are suitable for wheelchair access. There are also two luxury shepherd's huts and four mini cedar lodges, some featuring their own private hot tub. Previous winner of Overall Winner and Best Adult Only Site in the Practical Caravan Top 100 Awards.

Old Oaks Touring Park is open from 01/03 to 19/11.

A note from the site themselves...

One thing we are super proud of is the awards we have won over the years. Open since the 1980's, we have slowly established ourselves as one of the most sites in the area.

We always strive to provide the best customer service and believe our team are some of the friendliest and most helpful in the industry. We take great real pride in keeping our facilities spotlessly clean and the park beautifully kept so you can have the best holiday possible. We hope to welcome you soon, Tara

Motorhome - Super PitchesApr 2024

One of the best campsites I've stayed at in 40 years of camping/ motorhoming holidays. If you don't like or appreciate the wonders of wildlife, enjoy the company of like-minded lovely people or enjoy helpful and good-humoured staff with no noisy children and wonderful facilities with 5 star facilities for your beloved dogs in a peaceful location, then this isn't for you! We can't wait to return, thank you.

For those that enjoy walking, the campsite is surrounded by a network of footpaths, the most popular being to the famous Glastonbury Tor and to the town itself (two miles from the campsite), but if you are a keen walker there are many more to choose from.
