About Tuckers Grave Inn and Campsite

Spread out in a gorgeous Somerset countryside setting. This peaceful and beautiful location is ideal for city dwellers looking for a rural experience. There are 70+ pitches, including limited electric, for campers, tourers and motorhomes across four fields, Oakfield, Wellow and Lower Brook, Upper Brook and Sleepy Hollow. Set alongside is a lovely pub which is a 200 year old cider house, one of only six left in the country. It's on the national inventory of historic interiors and has hardly changed since WW1. Offering a variety of real ale and cider, from Butcombe original to Thatcher Cheddar Valley, this is a great place to relax and get cosy. The interior is rustic with some original Georgian wood panelling, stripped back wooden floors, a working Victorian fireplace, settles, pews and large wooden tables. It's a great place to socialise over a pint or two. There is even regular events and live music to enjoy.

Tuckers Grave Inn and Campsite is open all year round in 2024 and 2025.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass PitchesOct 2024

It's a great place to stay with lots of options for your entertainment. There's the traditional quiet pub/inn, more modern and louder cafe/pub, a small games room and live music at the barn. The part we stayed wasn't quiet but it was totally bearable. I'm pretty sure the fields further back would hear nothing. The staff was super helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesOct 2024

The location is excellent and good value for money. Rally was most welcoming and very informative about the site, facilities and local area. Easily on hand when needed. The standard of cleanliness was excellent, considering the weather conditions. I would definitely return if available in the future.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Very friendly and great site, perfect for me and a couple of friends on a bike tour. Great facilities and on the night we arrived there was a bike meet, which made the evening even better. Unfortunately, the selection of ciders was too big to get through in one evening. Good excuse to go back.
