About the site

Set on the banks of the River Arun, this family friendly campsite is perfectly placed for exploring the Sussex countryside and coast, with the South Downs National Park and Arundel just five minutes away and Littlehampton ten minutes away. Choose from non electric grass pitches (6m x 8m) for tents, roof tents and trailer tents, or non electric grass and hardstanding pitches for touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Electric grass and hardstanding pitches are also available, measuring 6m by 8m and offering a 16 amp hook up. Space is available for a gazebo, awning or pup tent on the pitches. There's plenty to keep everyone happy, whether you're heading out to explore or making the most of the riverside setting. Spend the day kayaking along the river, launch straight from the slipway or let younger campers burn off energy in the play area. When it's time to refuel, the site's 17th-century pub serves tasty meals and refreshing drinks, while the shop is handy for picking up essentials, snacks and treats. Beyond the campsite, sandy beaches are just a ten minute drive away, while the surrounding countryside offers scenic walking and cycling routes. Hire a bike and discover the local trails, or hop on a train from Ford railway station, a five minute walk away, for days out in Bognor Regis, Portsmouth or Brighton. Dogs are welcome to join your stay but must be kept on a lead at all times. Enjoy a stroll along the riverbank or explore the local walking routes.

Open from 1 March to 31 October.
