A note from the site themselves...
Hafod Hall Camping Club started out in 2016 with just a few people coming together to do what they love. We are a family owned business that is open all year. Little did we know that it would grow into the thriving Camping Club it is today. The land surrounding the property consists of 650 acres of beautiful unspoiled terrain.
With its boundary is a large area of woodland, a nature reserve and the Alwen Reservoir. Anyone staying at Hafod Hall can unwind in this remote and peaceful place. You can relax amongst the spectacular views of the Welsh mountains or recline under the nights clear sky, watching the stars (this area is a designated dark sky area).
Throughout the grounds there are many areas in which to pitch your tent. You can choose your perfect spot, all with their own unique view. On average, pitches are 10m x 8m. No electric.
3 x Wild Campervan Pitch
Max 3 people
Non electric campervan pitch set in the wild. Perfect for unwinding and taking in the views.
We originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 1, due to a malfunctioning bed 😄
It was a beautiful place with lovely views, the staff were really friendly and helpful. If you like star gazing, this is the place, it was incredible. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, we'll be back!
Late night camping!

Medium Tent - Wild Tent PitchesOct 2024
Traffic jams and other congestion meant a very late arrival. Sue and her son stayed up and met us on arrival, they made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and checked in with us again in the morning!
Excellent service and very friendly, amazing setting.
Great times

Small Tent - Wild Tent PitchesAug 2024
Great camping site. Remote, close to nature, no mobile signal. Very beautiful place and people. Very helpful and friendly, with access to lake with option of fishing. Arrived on my motorbike and used it as my base to explore Snowdonia. Last 80-100 yards you ride on gravel road, which I loved. Could park my bike right next to reception.
Big thanks to Ste, Graham and to the family that own and run the camp.
