Pant Yr Onnen Lakeside Campsite is located on the southern shores of Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), close to the town of Bala in North Wales. Surrounded by mountainous views within the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, the site offers the perfect lake spot. Kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and open water swimming - the choices are endless! Looking for something a bit more comfortable, there are three shepherd's huts as an alternative to camping.

About Pant Yr Onnen Lakeside Campsite
This idyllic and secluded base is an excellent choice for a quiet getaway or fun-filled adventures in the great outdoors. Tents and tourers are invited to this family-friendly site. Spend your days on the lake with your kayaks and paddleboard. In the evenings, enjoy the incredible sunsets over the beautiful mountain while you sit around a campfire, reminiscing on your adventures. The site is also located in an international Dark Sky Reserve. The remoteness of rural Wales means little light pollution, so make sure to look above the stars at night. You'll be in awe. If a night under the stars isn't for you, then opt for one of the three shepherd's huts available, a warmer and more comfortable alternative to camping. The glamping option provides a warmer and more comfortable alternative to camping, with each Hut offering something different. A beautiful setting, stunning lake and even friendlier people. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Facilities include a modern toilet and shower block (showers take a 50p for approx 8 minutes of hot water), including family-friendly cubicles. Disabled toilet and shower. Baby Changing Facility. Washing up area. Refuse (general and recycling) disposal point. Waste and grey water disposal point. Drinking water points are situated around the site. Use of a washing machine where a charge applies.
Ice block service - donation to local chosen charity. Logs/Sticks for campfire can be purchased in reception.

Site rules and policies
Check-in time is between 1pm until 7pm for camping and between 2pm and 7pm for the shepherd's huts.
Late arrivals by prior arrangement and no arrivals after 9pm.
Check out time is by 11 am for camping and 10am for the shepherd's huts.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on the condition that they are kept on leads at all times and any fouling picked up immediately.
Trees, bushes and shrubs on the site are protected under SSSI regulations. Do not climb/cut/damage them in any way.
Campfires are allowed on the foreshore close to the water's edge and not on the camping pitch. No fires on camping or grass pitches.
Please do not bring wood with you to burn on the campfire - Everything you need for a campfire can be purchased on site.
All BBQs must be raised at least 40cms off the grass. Please do not turn your BBQ into a fire after cooking on your pitch.
