With 12 electric grass pitches and plenty of space for non-electric pitches and great facilities, this site is never too crowded, allowing you and your family to enjoy the nature around you. Unwind within the region's outstanding natural beauty by fishing in the River Banwy that streams through the site. Expect to yield a fantastic range of catches from the incredible carp and pike to the more common trout. If you're simply seeking a chilled-out break with the kids, you don't even have to venture too far to enjoy the on site playground. The pub is open weekends and peak periods, with food available on Friday/Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings. Dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times. An enclosed dog exercise area is also available. Just ten minutes down the road, you can hop on the local steam railway to see deer, hawks and even otters as you travel through the stunning Welsh countryside.

The park's facilities include toilets, hot showers, a laundry room (£1 for a 40 minute wash and £1 for a 20 minute dry) and a children's playground.
There is a shop and pub open at weekends and during peak periods with food served Friday and Saturday night and Sunday Mornings.
In Llanfair Caereinion, you can find two pubs, The Red Lion and The Black Lion a ten minute drive away. The Country Store is also just a ten minute drive away for your essentials.

The owners are nice and friendly and the location is good with a lovely river running through the campsite. The field was very wet, so they gave me the option of parking on the hardstanding, which was good for me. There are limited showers/toilet blocks which may become an issue in the summer (or they may have only opened one in the spring).

We decided to book a last minute camping weekend away and came across this campsite! Lovely location and great pitches! Was great for the children and the dogs! (there's a small dog field area!). The only negative was how far away the toilets are from the pitches. Maybe it would be handy to have a couple of portaloos for those middle of the night toilet trips - especially with children! Otherwise, we had a really great stay, considering the weather wasn't on our side.

Lovely site, good facilities, nice and quiet. Relaxing with the river flowing through it. Biggest downside was the distance to the toilet from where our pitch was. Very friendly and helpful people running the site. We will definitely be visiting again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will be back in the future.
