Very pleased with campsite.

Friendly owners, saw them often around the site. Location was great. Great facilities and very clean. Had to pay slightly more than expected when I arrived however we didn’t have to pay for the electric at the end so I think this was the reason for paying slightly more. Would recommend and return.

Peaceful campsite

Great peaceful campsite if you’re traveling round north wales.

Quiet campsite perfect for bringing young dog

This is a lovely quiet campsite. The toilet is small but super clean and looks new. At first I was worried about the amount of toilets and bathrooms, but there was always a room when I go in. The best thing we loved about the campsite is definitely the enclosed dog park! We were allocated near the dog park, and we took our 2 years old Labrador there to play ball everyday before bedtime. He usually barks at every sound in the tent at night, but this time he was so tired and stayed asleep whole night! The only downside is that our pitch was at the top of the hill. And we couldn’t keep our things sit still on the table. But the rest of the pitch looks pretty flat. We’d definitely come back again!

Lovely site

Really lovely site with excellent, clean facilities. We arrived quite late (8pm) and this was no issue, the site was really good value for money and staff really helpful. Nice and quiet, lovely surroundings would definitely stay again. Local pub highly recommended for good home cooked food.

Camping for a Snowdon trip

Really lovely location. Condition of whole site was great, including showers & toilets. Great value for money too. Sophie was so helpful, including giving us invaluable advice on climbing Snowdon the following day, which helped give us an awesome day up the mountain. Highly recommend!

Absolutely brilliant

Just got home from a weekend staying in the bell tent and we have loved every minute. The tent itself was gorgeous… lots of thoughtful touches like a warm blanket, logs and lamps. The beds were unbelievably comfy!! Facilities on site were great… the showers were the rare combination of hot, powerful and spotlessly clean. Would absolutely recommend this site and really hope to return.

Fresh and friendly

Great location, lovely, helpful owners. Really liked the fact that it was broken down into groups of pitches, so it didn't seem like a large site all in one field. Dog friendly too. Diolch.

Beautiful campsite

Absolutely spotless, toilet and showers constantly been cleaned. All areas spotless. Family run, whole family are such lovely people. Just about to book again for summer holidays 🥰

Great place to stay

Fantastic location for climbing Snowdon and conveniently close to local shops. The facilities were clean, and the campsite was well maintained. I’d definitely stay again!

Great campsite

The owners were amazing! Really helpful when we forgot our tent poles. Lovely site. Great pitch. Super clean shower/toilet block. Would definitely stay again.

Bank holiday weekend

Site was easy to find. Upon arrival, staff were friendly and made booking in stress free. There's 2 convenience stores, a Premier and Co-op. The chip shop is lovely. We had amazing fish and chips (highly recommend you try). It's cash only, though. Site is located well, especially for exploring the local area or for just chilling.

Amazing location, spotless facilities, very friendly owners!

Just back from a 5 night stay camping here. We are a family of 4 (2 kids aged 10 and 7) and a dog. The site was perfect for us. Quiet, clean and spacious plots. The owners have done a cracking job with it and we absolutely loved it. The location is amazing, we hired bikes in Caernarfon one day, we walked Snowdon, we walked the slate mountain and just before we went home because the sun was shining, we decided to stick around and we hired a paddleboard and a kayak on the lake which was excellent. We had a really nice meal at the pub down the road on evening, food was epic. To be honest, we could have easily stayed longer as there was so much more we would have liked to explore! Everywhere we went was less than 10 minutes to drive to and beautiful, making this location one of our favourites we've holidayed at in the UK! Well done guys, super impressed with your set up and thanks for looking after us. We'll be back (and I'm working on my wife to agree that we need a seasonal pitch next season!)

Still the best site in North Wales!

This is the second time we've stayed here with our toddler & chose to go back for his 3rd birthday. The scenery is fantastic, the local beaches amazing & one of the cleanest sites we have stayed in. Everything about the site is exceptional, but the personal aspects from Dan & Sophie are what will always bring us back, our little boy was so happy when they brought him over a balloon to celebrate his birthday. Nothing was too much bother for them. Can't wait to stay again ⭐️

Short but vey sweet

Very convenient site for visiting our son at Bangor University - so easy to go back and forth, as well as up to the mountains and over to Anglesey. Site was immaculate, pitch was generous size and owners were polite and helpful. Will use again.

Exceptional site

An exceptionally clean site, grounds were immaculate, toilets and showers spotless, washing up area as clean as a professional kitchen. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a base in North Wales. Loved it and will be back, thanks.
