Brilliant place and super friendly

After a severely damaged tent on our first night due to a storm, Helen, Len and the campsite team went above and beyond to help us and find alternative accommodation, basically saving our summer holiday! We were so grateful and found everyone very friendly and helpful the whole time. Such a lovely location too with great walks nearby and excellent facilities.

Base for exploring Snowdonia

The campsite had amazing views, the owner was very welcoming on arrival. We had booked a pitch well in advance for a motorhome and the first choice of pitch we were offered wasn't ideal as right by the toilets and on a slope, so the owner gave us a much better pitch which was flat and room to sit out with table/chairs. We could only stop on that pitch for one night though as booked out for our second night so had to move onto another pitch the next day. It was a very busy site for its size so sometimes had to wait to use toilets/showers but it was August. The facilities for the kids were great and they loved the donkeys and made friends whilst at the play park. There were also lots of walks to do from the site so for hikers a great base but also to take a family walk on a nice day or an evening stroll, it was ideal.

Well worth a visit

Lovely campsite in a beautiful location. Great for kids with a play area and donkeys to feed. The campsite was very clean with friendly staff and there's lots to do in the local area. I would definitely recommend it and I will be going back to visit!

Great place

Beautiful setting looking at the mountains and really friendly people in charge, who always seemed happy to help. We pitched a large tent with electric and had space to park next to it and did not feel too close to our neighbours. The shower and toilets are split between 2 blocks so some are always open (even when cleaned) and really well maintained. Showers were always hot and we only had to wait a couple of times (but no queues as the site is not huge). Kids liked the playground and donkeys. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again.

Annual family camp

Every year my family and I get together on an annual camp trip, this year it was my turn to choose the site and I'm glad I choose here. Despite the torrential downpours, we had a great time. The staff were all lovely. We are already talking of booking again for next year, with hopefully better weather! 🙏

Long weekend

The site was very clean and well kept and the facilities were kept in a very clean state at all times. During our visit, it was very wet and windy but the site handled the weather very well.

Absolutely beautiful views

You couldn’t get better views. Absolutely stunning. Site staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely setting

This is a nice campsite set amongst the Snowdonia hills. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. The washing facilities are ok. The kids enjoyed the large play park.

Lovely site

A lovely, quiet family park. Little quirks such as visiting sheep from nearby fields and farmer getting them back to safety with his sheep dogs added to the fun. We will return.

Excellent campsite

Brilliant campsite set in beautiful surroundings. Feels remote but you're not far from lots of great places and activities. The stay started so well, with the owners giving a tour of the site and facilities rather than the typical - stick your tent anywhere in that field over there :) Lovely well-maintained site with lots of good facilities - clean and good showers, utility room with camper fridges and freezers available, playground, and a limited but good shop. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful setting for a wonderful camping trip. Beautiful scenery and plenty of space for kids to have fun.

A beautiful campsite with stunning views

This was our first time in Wales camping and we will be going again. The site itself is moderately sized with good showers and toilets, flat pitches, friendly staff, a small shop, escaping sheep and 5 gorgeous donkeys. The staff were welcoming and we even learnt to shepherd the 2 hand-reared lambs back to where they needed to be after their regular escapes. The site itself is in a great location. We went up Snowdon via the Llanberis path which is about 20 minutes with other beautiful towns and villages with a shortish drive away. We will be returning no doubt.

Loved every minute!

Absolutely fantastic place to spend time away and forget your usual life. We rented a pod (Moel) which is located right in front of the field where the sheep and the donkeys live, so we watched them roaming around all day. The donkeys are really cute and really made our stay a lot more interesting. Great views of the mountains around, and while you feel you're out in the wild, the town is very close and has all the shops you might need in case you forgot anything home. In fact, next time when we'll be around the food shopping will be done right there instead of carrying them from home. Also, great staff! We will definitely come again.

Great site, great staff, perfect for exploring Snowdonia. We loved our time here!

Quick trip away

Nice quiet area. We had a pod, which was nice and clean and had a tap with fresh running water outside. Only thing we found odd was there was no bin close by to take our rubbish. Microwave on site if you wished to use it. Toilets and showers spotless.

Great campsite at the foothills of Snowdonia

Lovely site on a working farm, the owners are extremely accommodating and the facilities are superb and extremely clean! Possibly the best showers we have used in all locations we have visited on our road trip! We have a large Motorhome, and the final drive to the camp is a little tight, but worth it once booked in x

Beautiful site!

This was such a lovely campsite with mountains all around. The site and facilities were great & very clean. Lyn & her husband are very approachable & personally got some fresh eggs for our breakfast which were delicious! Their very friendly dog Griff came over to welcome us too & got on very well with our dog. Such a sweetie. I think he sees it as his job to welcome everyone to the site!! 😁🐶💙 Highly recommend 👍

Our stay

Wonderful! Will definitely return, as it suited our needs perfectly. The view and location were beautiful. Everything was spotlessly clean and the facilities were more than adequate. Everyone was helpful and went above and beyond. Thank you for a lovely weekend.

Amazing site and pod

Booked last minute for a solo get away and cannot fault the place. Great location, not a far drive from Caernarfon and also not too far in car to Llanberis. Stayed in Behog pod which had 4 plugs and a heater. Pod came with decking, picnic bench and BBQ. Lots of space around me an parking space next to it for my car. Toilets and showers were clean and shower was great as it was a rainfall style with adjustable heat. On site they have a utility room you can wash your pots but in there also is a fridge and microwave. Lynn checked me in and was helpful through out. Very nice peaceful site. Will be going back again with my fiancée and daughter as they had a great park she would love.

Beautiful spot

The scenery at this campsite is unreal. My little boy loved having lambs running through the campsite too. We will definitely be coming again.

A beautiful location managed by a lovely family from the area

This campground is perfect for families with children, who are well catered for. The campsite was very clean and the owners went to great lengths to maintain and look after all the site and facilities. I would recommend this location and would certainly return again if in the area.

Great location with superb views - highly recommended

Great location to local hiking including Snowdon. Spectacular views around and a lake close by where you can swim or paddleboard. Only downside is not enough facilities, like showers and toilets. Also, we have booked with 12 amp electrics and upon arrival we had 6. Luckily, staff managed to change the circuit breakers and we could use what we need and what we have prepared for. I would highly recommend this campsite anyway.
