Everything you could have hoped for. This is exactly what I wanted from a wild campsite. The location is lovely, it's so quiet with a great view. The pitches are very nicely spread out so we couldn't see anyone from our tent which is nice and makes it feel more wild. The hosts are absoutely lovely as well, we met Jane on arrival and she was so genuinely nice and happy, it really made us feel welcome. Facilities provided are just what you need; sink with drinking water and toilet both squeaky clean, the dish soap is a really nice touch aswell :). The price is so reasonable as well which is rare to see these days. Overall I think it's perfect and exactly what a wild campsite should be, can't wait to come back.

A beautiful place with perfect views of mountains and the sea. A very peaceful location and very thoughtfully arranged because the pitch was ideal - in a woodland grove, and very flat so I slept well. Mike and Jane are excellent at communicating and although I didn't meet Jane, Mike went out of his way to welcome me and was very open and friendly so I felt very much at ease there. The compost toilets were incredible, and I felt inspired by how off grid can work. They were very clean, worked really well and the process of composting human waste is very inspiring, and I think they have this down to a fine art in this place. I've stayed in other places with compost toilets, but this one was particularly impressive, because it was explained to me that how the toilet itself (not the cubicle) is sealed, which helped me to understand the high hygiene levels. I would definitely like to stay here again in the future, and it was also lovely to be a bit away from the crowds going up Snowdon.

A smashing little site for quiet contemplation. Excellently located for exploring the north west corner of Wales. Very basic but in a good way for those seeking a true out in the field experience. Charming owners and a very friendly cat named Princess, not to speak of the views and starry nights, which when experienced speak for themselves. 11/10 will stay again if ever in the area.

What a wonderful campsite with stunning views and the friendliest most helpful hosts. Our pitch was in the meadow with views of the mountains and the sea, perfect! I had some requests before arriving and communication with the hosts was swift and they did everything to accommodate us. Would highly recommend this site for anyone wanting a peaceful break.

The owners were very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. Pitches were far apart and that offered a modicum of privacy. I would highly recommend this campsite as a little getaway that takes you out of the busy world for a little bit!

This campsite was awesome for multiple reasons. 1. The campsites were secluded and intimate away from where most people camp, but it’s close enough to all the good hikes. 2. The hosts were extremely friendly. 3. The outhouses have running water, and there is also another spot for running drinking water. 4. They can provide everything you need for a campfire.
