A note from the site themselves...
Myself and Mike have had a passion for the protection of the environment and wildlife for decades. The site is a reflection of this, by creating a sanctuary for the local flora and fauna. We have gained immense delight and peace over the years living here and we now feel we'd like to share this with other like minded people.
Most of the trees on the site were planted by Mike 30 years ago, and has been managed with conservation very much in mind. Many of the hedges have been laid in the traditional style by Mike, creating even more wildlife habitat opportunities. We have really tired to make a richly diverse space, our way of giving back to this wonderful planet we live on.
We love living here and hope that others will enjoy the wildlife friendly place we've created.
Private non electric grass pitches are in their own separate spot in the wild meadow. All the pitches have an element of privacy. Pitches are a maximum 5m x 5m and suitable for small/medium sized tents.
3 x Woodland Grass Pitches
Max 2 people
Private non electric grass pitches are in their own separate spot hidden from view in the trees. Pitches are 4m x 4m. These pitches are only suitable for tents no larger than 3m x 3m.
Everything you could have hoped for. This is exactly what I wanted from a wild campsite.
The location is lovely, it's so quiet with a great view. The pitches are very nicely spread out so we couldn't see anyone from our tent which is nice and makes it feel more wild.
The hosts are absoutely lovely as well, we met Jane on arrival and she was so genuinely nice and happy, it really made us feel welcome.
Facilities provided are just what you need; sink with drinking water and toilet both squeaky clean, the dish soap is a really nice touch aswell :).
The price is so reasonable as well which is rare to see these days.
Overall I think it's perfect and exactly what a wild campsite should be, can't wait to come back.
Perfect

Small Tent - Woodland Grass PitchesAug 2023
A beautiful place with perfect views of mountains and the sea. A very peaceful location and very thoughtfully arranged because the pitch was ideal - in a woodland grove, and very flat so I slept well.
Mike and Jane are excellent at communicating and although I didn't meet Jane, Mike went out of his way to welcome me and was very open and friendly so I felt very much at ease there.
The compost toilets were incredible, and I felt inspired by how off grid can work. They were very clean, worked really well and the process of composting human waste is very inspiring, and I think they have this down to a fine art in this place. I've stayed in other places with compost toilets, but this one was particularly impressive, because it was explained to me that how the toilet itself (not the cubicle) is sealed, which helped me to understand the high hygiene levels.
I would definitely like to stay here again in the future, and it was also lovely to be a bit away from the crowds going up Snowdon.
Lovely location run by lovely people

Small Tent - Wild Meadow Grass PitchesAug 2023
A smashing little site for quiet contemplation.
Excellently located for exploring the north west corner of Wales.
Very basic but in a good way for those seeking a true out in the field experience.
Charming owners and a very friendly cat named Princess, not to speak of the views and starry nights, which when experienced speak for themselves.
11/10 will stay again if ever in the area.
