Tan Y Fron Holiday Park is a small, family run park 1/2 a mile outside the old market town of Dolgellau with a variety of shops and various places to eat. It's centrally placed for southern Snowdonia's attractions: Cadair Idris, the Mawddach Trail (five mins away), Coed Y Brenin Forest (20 mins), Zip World (35 mins), adventure sports and more. Within a half hour you can be at lakes, castles, beaches and other Welsh beauty spots.
About Tan Y Fron Holiday Park
Located within easy walking distance of Dolgellau, this park is nestled in the south part of Snowdonia and offers lovely far reaching countryside views. You're in reach of a variety of shops, restaurants, pubs, cafes , takeaway food. There are serviced hardstanding pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes or campervans, and space for awnings, all with a grassed area to relax in, electric, TV aerial, water tap and waste water disposal. Campers also have a selection of level tent camping terraces with dedicated parking and countryside views plus a set of standard grass and electric grass pitches. There are four cosy glamping pods set in their own area .Standard pods sleep two adults and one child, while family pods sleeps four adults and feature their own picnic table and storage cupboard with small fridge. They are natural, well-built, insulated and secure wooden camping huts that provide basic yet comfortable accommodation. Inside are lights, electric socket, TV and heater. Leave the tent at home and travel freely with your other camping gear. They're also 100% carbon neutral. Sorry No pets allowed in the pods.

Site facilities include ladies' and gents' modern centrally-heated shower/washing and toilet facilities. There's an indoor dish washing room, laundry and chemical disposal point. A small shop in reception sells gas and camping essentials. There is a security access barrier with a code system, good mobile phone reception and 4G. WiFi available in reception.
