This peaceful campsite is the perfect base for exploring the very best of North Wales. You'll be within easy reach of Eryri National Park and the stunning coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula, with its beautiful sandy beaches and amazing views. Whether you're pitching a tent or arriving in a tourer or campervan, there's plenty of space to settle in and relax. Choose from spacious grass pitches or hardstanding and grass pitches with 16 amp hook-ups. The lovely town of Criccieth is just a 20 minute stroll away, offering independent shops, a fantastic bakery, cosy pubs, great restaurants, and the iconic Criccieth Castle overlooking the sea. For something a little different, you can even enjoy a session at the town's beachside sauna, perfect after a day of exploring the coast. For those who love the outdoors, the site has direct access to public footpaths, including the Wales Coast Path, as well as local cycling routes. There's plenty to explore with a 30 minute drive too, from the historic castles of Harlech Castle and Caernarfon Castle to Portmeirion and the scenic journeys of the Welsh Highland Railway. Back on site, you'll find plenty of space to unwind, including a large play and picnic area set away from the pitches, ideal for relaxing while the kids run free. Fancy a cosy evening outdoors? BBQs are welcome (just keep them raised off the ground), and fire pits are available to hire along with logs, firelighters, and kindling. Well-behaved dogs are very welcome too, with a dedicated exercise field where they can stretch their legs. The campsite is conveniently located on the main bus route, with a stop just a few minutes' walk from the entrance. The service provides direct connections to Caernarfon, Pwllheli, and Porthmadog.
