Against a background of misty hills, Ynys Faig Camping and Caravan Site is a peaceful seaside choice for your next break. Small and family oriented, it's a chance to dip into the pretty bays and shimmering estuaries of North West Wales or walk along the sands at Fairbourne (complete with 'dragon's teeth' - pieces of WW2 history). Your furry best friend is welcome at this dog friendly site and the sea is just a few minutes' walk.

All aboard for a trip along the pleasant coastline in a pintsize miniature railway! That's the vibe Fairbourne offers with its nostalgic mini train - it's the charming fun of the seaside with none of the seriousness of the city.
A ferry ride on the estuary will not only fill your eyes with great views, but your belly with tasty Barmouth ice cream and your bags with bits and bobs from excellent shops. Oh, and Barmouth has a fabulous sandy beach!
Closer to home at Fairbourne, take walks between the waves on the front and watch the sun set behind the dragon's teeth, a piece of history dating back to defences in the last war and full of interest for history buffs.
