About the site


Nestled on the outskirts of Abersoch, this site is ideal for families and couples with a love for beach days and pretty coastal walks. Take a 30 minute stroll to the Abersoch village along the beach or along the lane, and discover plenty of lovely shops, pubs, and restaurants. Penrhyn Camping Site provides hardstanding pitches, all fully serviced, for caravans and touring. Enclosed by many nearby beaches, Porth Ceriad is a ten minute walk from the campsite, easily accessed through a public footpath. Machroes Beach is just a five minute drive for a family day out filled with paddleboarding, sailing, jet-skiing, or canoeing. There is also Mickey's Beach Cafe next door, for a nice lunch or refreshing drink afterwards! Up to three dogs are welcome per pitch, but please keep them on leads while onsite. There are walking routes for your pups to explore nearby.

The site has three shower rooms, one ladies, one gents, and one unisex. There are toilets, a laundry area, and a washing up area. Accessible facilities are also available. Please note the washing machine and tumble dryer are coin opertated.

Each pitch is accompanied by its own water tap and electricity hook up.

SPAR is a five minute drive away for any essentials. The Sun Inn is also a five minute drive, serving lunch 12pm - 2pm and evening meals between 6pm - 9pm.

We love our little site. It has been described as "lovely and cosy" by our long standing returning guest. We put our heart and soul into what we do, so our guests will get the most out of their stay here with us at Penrhyn.

* Check-in from 2pm and departure should be no later than 11am.

* The site accepts families and couples only.

* No loud noise between 11pm - 7pm.

* All balances are to be paid 14 days before arrival.

* Deposits are non refundable.

* No refunds for bad weather and any issues beyond the site owner's control.

* If, for any reason, the rules are not adhered to by any individual, they will be asked to leave the site.

Machroes Beach is a five minute drive away, offering varied watersports, or, if you're more into surfing, take a ten minute drive to Porth Neigwl for the day.

For fishing lovers, Fish N Trips is a ten minute drive, a fun day out for the whole family. For hiking enthusiasts, Traeth Llanbedrog is only 15 minutes by car, or Mount Snowden (Eryri) or Y Wyddfa is an hour's drive away.
