VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Very happy with our stay at Shortlands Farm.
Very large pitches, quiet and relaxing. Kate was always at the end of the phone to answer any questions you may have. The toilets and showers are kept clean and it was a lovely walk to the beach, which is gorgeous.
The only down side was we felt it needs another water tap in the electric hook up field, but we think the field is a new facility they are working on.
We will be returning to this site.
Lovely, quiet and well kept site Recommends site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 Lovely location with a view of the local beach. It was very peaceful. The pitches were large and well spaced out. Facilities were basic but very clean and modern. It was a self check in, which was easy. Can't wait to go back.
An amazing weekend Recommends site
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 A small group of us spent the weekend for my birthday. The sea views from our tent were beautiful. It was a short walk from the sea and from the coastal paths. We took our two dogs who loved it. It was also a short drive to Broadhaven, which we enjoyed. Good facilities too. Will likely be coming back.
Perfect day Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 This was the most spacious plot of our stay in Pembrokeshire and the views/sunset were incredible and we loved our time here.
The facilities, showers and toilets were very clean and tidy.
I would book to come here again and for a longer period. Thanks.
Wonderful views, walking distance to fabulous beach! Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 An immaculate field with amazing sea views and huge numbered bays for every camper. I never been in a camping site with so much space!
It only takes 15 mins to go down to one of the best beaches of Pembrokeshire as its remote location makes it not crowded. It takes a little longer to get back if you're not fit as it's uphill.
I didn't give 5 stars only because the toilets and showers are mixed (and in the same block). But, their facilities are immaculate.
Beautiful site Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 Beautiful location, outstanding views, tranquile, plenty of space, well looked after grass and very flat. Each pitch is numbered, very ample and with a fire pit.
We will be coming back very soon.
Savvy rescue dog and companions go on holiday Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 Fantastic stay at Shortlands!
We bought a new awning and bits for our van so it was a tester. Tent pegs guys, don't forget your tent pegs. We didn't have enough. The site is situated in a brilliant location but this is the west coast. It can get windy so don't forget to check you've got wind breakers and good secure equipment.
Husband just said don't write a good review we don't want everyone to go there so that should tell you what it's like.
Walker's heaven, but our rescue dog would like me to put that she loved the walks as well. Great beaches, so so many eateries dog friendly, lots of dogs on holiday as well. Unfortunately, the dog had a holiday crush with the resident donkey.
Local food places good but a drive away especially in the evening.
Don't miss Little haven, Solva, Newgale beach and the Pembrokeshire coast path for the dogs and humans alike!
Lovely 2 nights away Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 Lovely two nights away in our campervan. We stayed on an electric hook up pitch.
Facilities were great and the views are stunning! Will be back soon! Thank you!
A great stay Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 We really liked the atmosphere at Shortlands.
There is plenty of room with the sites spaced far apart. There is a fire bowl made from an old car wheel for each pitch, so in the evenings you could see flickering fires all around.
The site has amazing views towards the sea, with fantastic fiery sunsets each night. The showers etc were clean with plenty of hot water.
A great stay.

VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Super campsite, pitches well spaced. Would recommend and visit again.
Great location overlooking St Brides Bay.
Beautiful location Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2023 Beautiful location, walking distance from the beach, also on the coastal trail. Spacious pitch, clean and good quality bathroom. We will be back!
Lovely Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Lovely location. Lots of space and privacy.
Beautiful views at this quiet, well maintained site Recommends site
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 A well maintained site with really large, private pitches in the electric field. The view over the bay and the sunsets were simply stunning. Perfect for a peaceful getaway.
There are narrow roads on the approach to the campsite, but the instructions from the owners were clear and they came to check everything was OK.
It's a bit of a walk to the toilet/shower block. Will bring the camping loo next time - and I hope there will be many next times.
Highly recommend the Oystercatcher pitch.
Lovely Recommends site
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Very good, very clean huge open space for my dog and a brilliant view.
Great spot for walking Recommends site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 Great location for walks around Pembrokeshire. Nice views, and really peaceful and quiet.
Great place, tranquil, private and clean Recommends site
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2022 This is a great place if you are after some peace and quiet!
I stayed in field 2. Pitches are quite big, and very well spaced out. Perfect if you want to feel like you're on your own (which I did!) Once checked in via text, you don't get hassled.
The beach is ~10 mins walk. Rocky when the tides in, but nice sandy beach when the tides out. It's down a bit of a hill which is great on the way there but a bummer on the way back :D (I had a 18kg Kayak on my back).
If I had to criticise anything it would be that I noticed the windows in the toilet / shower block roof are like mirrors at night, it gave me a shock to see myself when I looked up, and I'm sure it would give someone else a shock if they looked up too. I'm not sure what could be done about it to be honest. I just used them in the day! (And it's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the facilities)
I'd definitely stay again.
