Friendly, clean but expensive

Single Axle Caravan - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

I felt that the campsite was extremely expensive for what it was and made money including added extras, such as an additional car. We couldn't all fit into one vehicle, so this, on top of an already expensive pitch, felt like a bit of an insult. Will not be staying there again.

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Really amazing stay at Covert Camping. Great location, lovely small site with grass pitches, never far to walk to toilets. Brilliant facilities, so clean and lots of little extra thoughts…hooks, mirrors, and stools to put your stuff on in the showers, quiet at night with a ban on cars after 10pm. Quick drive to lots of fabulous beaches. Frances so friendly and welcoming. We just loved it.

Nice site and well maintained

Large Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2023

Nice site and well maintained but toilet and shower facilities are not up to much. Check in was smooth and owners are pleasant. The site is well maintained with good grass which they rest in between stays. Location is good if you want peace and quiet but not really near anything. Saundersfoot is the nearest harbour and has a really nice vibe. Of course Tenby is nearby. The only thing I wasn't really happy about was the toilet and shower facilities. They weren't the cleanest and very basic for the price. The shower water was hot though. They definitely need to upgrade the showers and toilets.

Lovely place

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

Really enjoyed our stay. The only reason why I didn't think it was 5 for value for money is that it was our first time booking so nothing to compare to. Handy to get to Tenby and Saundersfoot.

Friendly, chill campsite

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesJul 2023

Had a lovely time staying at Covert Farm. Check in was easy and the whole vibe was very relaxed. When we saw that the weather was going to stay good, we arranged with the owners to stay an extra night. Only 10 minutes to the nearest seaside (Saundersfoot), which happened to have a live music festival on when we went! And only 15 minutes to the beautiful seaside town of Tenby. Very well located. Walking distance to a pub although we didn't get around to going. We were able to have a campfire as a firepit was available with logs and firestarters included. There is a toilet block with showers and a washing up sink as well as a portaloo area with toilets, showers and another washing-up sink. Drinking water is available from a tap. There's also a freezer which we used, and is open for all campers.

Good but facilities need opening fully

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2023

Lovely little campsite, quiet, tidy and clean ideal for peace and tranquillity, not that far from Tenby / Saundersfoot. Ok, I hear you ask, why only 3 stars given in some area's, well, simply the fact that quite a few of the toilet and shower facilities were locked and not working and if the site had been full may have caused a few problems. The shower block was excellent. Only four stars for location as it is quite remote. Service was good and we had to phone to check in, quickly answered and guidance given, popped round to see us when the site owner returned, recommended but facilities need to be fully open.

Clean and convienient camping site

Super clean, wet rooms and toilet and very friendly owner. You can freeze your ice packs and the toilets are cleaned daily. Small but cosy.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2022

A site with lots of potential yet to be achieved. Very disappointed with the shower and toilet facilities which were dark and cold. Only one outside wash-up facility which had hot water. Poor signage detailing the chemical waste disposal, it took me ages to find it. None of this helped our week in which we experienced torrential rain for 4 days running. Came home a day early.

Lovely clean campsite

Large Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesAug 2021

We had a lovely stay at Covert Farm campsite. Very clean. Everything we needed was on site. Washing facilities showers and toilets all clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend it. We will be staying again next year.

Not as is advertised

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2021

Not what is advertised. Pitches are uneven on a slope. Toilets and showers are as you would find them on a festival field. We stayed 1 night and that was enough. Unfortunately we had moved from a very tidy, well kept, level campsite and we're trying to tour the area. It didn't help that they didn't have our booking even though it had been made 5 months before and had sent me a confirmation. Not worth the pitch cost per night, no more than a farmers field. Left only after 1 night as facilities are that poor.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesJun 2021

Loved staying at Covert Farm in our own campervan. It's a peaceful, rural location, fairly quiet but the owners are friendly and helpful when you need them. There are horses in fields nearby so although the site is dog friendly, they need to be under control and on leads in certain areas. The washing facilities are very clean, the site is well kept and there is a good waste and recycling system. You can hire a fire pit and fuel during your stay. Would definitely recommend.
