About Powys River Pods
Located in mid Wales, this five star rated site is surrounded by glorious walking routes and charming towns and villages. Set on the banks of the River Irfon, guests can enjoy waterside walks, fishing and paddle boarding right from site. Each of the three adult only glamping pods sleeps up to two, furnished with two sofa beds and linen. For all of your cooking needs, there is a kitchenette with a kettle, hob, microwave, fridge and toaster along with utensils, cups and plates. You will have your own private ensuite which includes a loo, shower and basin. For cosy evenings, there is a TV for watching films with WiFi too. Step outside and you will find a spacious wooden decking with a table and chairs for dining al fresco. A brick BBQ also means you can cook up a tasty dinner in the open air. You are also welcome to bring along your own fire pit, just please ensure it is raised from the ground and only used outside. Ideal for bikers, hikers and fishermen who don't want to carry all the camping gear with them. There are some great biking roads and routes around as well as 1.25 miles of exclusive fishing rights on the river Irfon. Two of the pods are dog friendly, with up to two well behaved pets per pod. The site is located within the Irfon River Holiday Park, with access to the facilities at the park. The park offers a range of pitches, static caravans and holiday homes, and is family friendly.
Powys River Pods is open all year round.
Each glamping pod includes its own ensuite facilities and free hardstanding parking. Free WiFi is included too. There is also an onsite laundrette that guests can make use of.
A Premier shop, The Trout Inn and The Prince Llewelyn Inn are also within a five minute drive. Garth train station is within a 20 minute drive too.

If you want to unwind onsite, fishing and paddle boarding on the river is welcome, the site has 1.25 miles of exclusive fishing rights along the river Irfron. Or, a riverside walk and picnic can also be the perfect way to spend a relaxing day.
For any thrill seekers, Black Mountain Adventure is also within a 30 minute drive. The adventure company offers days out within the Brecon Beacons, including kayaking, gorge adventures and watersports.
Craig Goch Dam (45 minutes) is also a great spot for dramatic views. See the mighty historic dam and explore the scenic countryside.
