About the site
This park offers a peaceful countryside escape in a rural valley on the England-Wales border. Just five minutes from the Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) and the charming town of Hay-on-Wye, famous for its world-renowned literary festivals and bookshops. This family and dog-friendly park is great for both relaxation and adventure alike. For those who love a back-to-nature stay, the wild-style meadow pitches are perfect. These non electric grass pitches are set in the camping meadow for tents only, with room for a car on each pitch. There are also electric grass pitches for small tents, family tents, and larger units, all with 16 amp electric hook-ups. The larger pitches also include water hook-ups and space to park right next to the pitch. Electric hardstanding pitches are available for touring caravans, campervans and motorhomes. These pitches come with 16 amp electric hook-ups, nearby water access, and useful facilities like chemical disposal and a motorhome service point. Around the park, guests can enjoy wandering through the peaceful orchard or picking fresh flavours from the herb garden. Children have space to play in the small play park, while grown-ups relax and take in the views across the valley. Open fires and fire pits aren't allowed, but BBQs are welcome as long as they're raised off the ground and kept away from the grass. Dogs are very welcome, with up to two allowed per pitch. There's lots of open space nearby for walks, so four-legged guests can enjoy the countryside just as much as their owners.
