5 Ways Lakes is a family run site, set in 25 acres and featuring two large coarse fishing lakes. Enjoy a bite or a hot drink at your peg from the cafe on site or stroll into the village to try the two excellent pubs just a mile away. Soak up the relaxed and friendly atmosphere or make the easy half hour drive to Stratford, Warwick Castle and Twycross Zoo.

About 5 Ways Lakes

Escape to the beautiful and relaxing surroundings of the countryside, with very easy access via the B4065 - just 10 minutes from the M6, M1, M69 or A5. All the usual shops and facilities are just 10 minutes away and it's only five minutes to Go Ape at Coombe Abbey, too. There are separate camping areas, some offering spacious hedged pitches for privacy and others with open camping to suit families or groups. It's your choice - grass pitches with electric or rural pitches overlooking the tranquil lakes. Motorbikes, rallies, events and groups are all welcome. Glampers are welcome onsite too in the luxuriously furnished shepherd's hut here, sleeping 3/4 people. All bedding is provided, along with tea and coffee making facilities. Guests are welcome to bring along outside chairs, cooking facilities etc. The huts are no smoking, no pets and no cooking inside.

Facilities and amenities

Site facilities include well kept toilets and free showers. The Kestrel Lake offers acres of mixed silver and carp fishing, while Mallard Lake has mirror and common carp up to 25lb. There is an on site cafe delivering hot food and drinks to your peg or camping pitch or shepherd's hut.

CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES, THE LAKES ARE NOT A PLAYGROUND.

ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES.

BBQ'S AND FIRES ARE ONLY ALLOWED WITH THE OWNERS PERMISSION, PROVIDIONG THAT THEY ARE CONATINED IN A FIRE PIT OR SIMILAR OFF THE GROUND TO AVOID BURNING THE GRASS AND POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD. PLEASE DISPOSE OF ASHES SENSIBLE NOT INTO THE HEDGEROW.

MUSIC - PLEASE RESPECT YOUR NEIGHBOURS, THEY MAY HAVE COME FOR A QUIET BREAK IN THE COUNTRYSIDE. NO CAR STEREO'S.

NO PADDLNG POOLS OR WATER BOMBS PLEASE.

PLEASE CONDENSE ALL RUBBISH, NO LARGE ITEMS MUST BE LEFT E.G. TENTS, CHAIRS, TABLES, GAZEBOS, AIRBEDS ETC.

Things to do on site and in the Hinckley area

The well stocked lakes onsite are the perfect place to dangle your rod and catch a whopper - with bream, roach, rudd, perch, tench, crucian and carp all swimming.

For days out exploring, leave the car behind and grab the bus to Coventry, where you'll take in its modern cathedral and have a hoot at the transport museum.

All the family will go wild for the enormous trebuchet and grand halls at Warwick Castle, while culture vultures will definitely want to see a Shakespeare play in the ancient setting of Stratford-upon-Avon.
