Tucked into peaceful rural Warwickshire is this family farm with back to basics camping pitches in 10 acres of glorious space and a couple of hassle free bell tents. This off grid green hub is in a great spot, within 30 minutes of Warwick with its famous castle, Stratford-upon-Avon and more. Only five minutes away is the border of the beautiful Cotswolds.

Great back to basics site but with flushing toilets, fabulous showers and washing up facilities. Lovely site with clear designated areas for you to use. Harry is on hand to ensure you have settled in and with logs for you to use in the fire pit. Highly recommend to anyone needing a campsite in the area.

We had a great stay over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful, bringing logs around in the evening. Pizza night on a Saturday was a great idea after just having got there and set up. There was a nice, friendly atmosphere and lovely views. Facilities are simple but all you need and generally clean. Only downside is that the drains were slightly smelly, but that's camping! Definitely recommend if looking for an off grid and somewhat remote setting.

Harry and Franco could not have been more welcoming. The size of the pitches with the fire pits and daily delivery of wood was fantastic. The location is wonderful and would highly recommend the delightful walk to The Peacock Inn, Oxhill, you won't be disappointed. Pizza night was also fab. The only downside to this campsite is the 'no waste' rule. I didn't think that would include sanitary waste, but was rather dismayed to find out that it did. (Unless I missed something!) Which is why I can't give this five stars across the board. A real shame, because everything else was spot on! Maybe something to think about for the future and would highly recommend otherwise!

Considering I’m not an avid camper I had such a good time. The shower/toilet/kitchen facilities were excellent. It was a beautiful piece of countryside. The only thing I would say is bring a parasol as there isn’t much shade. Lovely open space. We were spoilt as had the whole campsite to ourselves as we were there midweek. The owner was very accommodating. We had a campfire and just chilled. It’s dog friendly too. Highly recommend.

Beautiful area, great (and very clean!) facilities, including hot showers. We stayed in a bell tent due to a last minute weather change - and it was very comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed it. A beautiful location/setting. Love the sense of big space & that you can pitch in the freshly mowed soft grass with a good distance from other campers giving you privacy. A tranquil campsite. Good clean showers (perfect temperature with power) & toilets. Good washing up area, sinks, lots of taps for water. Also good stocked toilet paper, hand soap & washing up liquid. V friendly Harry to greet us & came round with firewood. Lovely pizza freshly baked on the Saturday night. We will be back again. Thank you so much. Ps love the cows in the neighbouring field.

Well organised, with genuine thought out into where each party should pitch up. Getting the families close together so the children can play and close to the toilets for the midnight toilet run. Lots of wildlife and scenery. Coffee guy turns up in the morning and pizza on Saturday night

A lovely campsite that feels remote, yet is only a short walk in either direction from two good local pubs (both called The Peacock!). It's right on public footpaths making it excellent for dog owners. Dogs have to be kept on leads within the campsite, which I think is perfectly fair, though the information sign could be worded in a more subtle way less likely to upset some child on their holiday! The pitches are huge and flat; well separated by areas of longer grass which gives a feeling of privacy, and bricks are provided for fire pits. Unfortunately, campers are required to buy logs from the campsite and are not allowed to bring their own, which makes staying a bit more expensive. Disposable barbecues are allowed though. I didn't have a problem with the lack of waste disposal facilities, but I think having some way for people to dispose of dog mess without having to take it home would be advantageous. I walked my dog away from the campsite, so I didn't mind, but a family I spoke with were rather unhappy at having nowhere to put poo bags. If, like me, you're a keen rambler, bring your own Explorer (orange cover) OS map, as the campsite only sells the small-scale pink cover maps which are not as good for walking. Some of the nearby footpaths are rather poorly signposted and many are planted over. I loved the campsite and will certainly be coming back.

This is a fab campsite, love the extra of being able to have a fire. Went on a great walk to Tysoe then up to Tysoe windmill (the views are amazing). The facilities are nice and always clean. Will definitely be back.

Lovely site, spacious pitches, good, clean loo, shower and washing facilities. Harry is always on hand to advise, which was reassuring as first time campers. Every pitch has a fire pit and logs, kindling and firelighters are available to buy. Oxhill and Tysoe are nearby villages that you can walk to. On Friday night Jammin' Pizza van was on site with delicious pizza so that sorted tea! Last, but not least, the most amazing sunset can be seen from the site, cloud permitting! Would definitely recommend 👌

Brilliant camp site, lovely location which was super quiet. Had a warm welcome and bought some logs for our campfire. The pitch was well looked after and very spacious. Great facilities too with porcelain flushing toilets and lovely hot showers! Couldn't have asked for more really!

Had a very nice couple of nights here with roaring log fires each night. The toilets and showers are a bit quirky (much better than portaloos) and were kept near and clean. The pitches are large and have space between each one. Harry is a genuinely nice guy and was very helpful throughout my stay.

Really lovely, clean & rural campsite. Even with it being at capacity one night, it didn't feel busy at all. The toilets and showers are great, kept clean and well topped up with paper. We had a mixed group of friends with children from 5 to 15. We all had a wonderful weekend. With a visit to Redwings Horse Sanctuary, the Peacock in Tysoe and a walk to Oxhill. Also a Sunday roast in The Dun Cow in Hornton. We will definitely be back next year.

We had a lovely relaxing stay with beautiful sunsets at this quiet campsite. Good facilities, always clean. Helpful owner always available when needed. For me, the only thing missing was not being able to freeze freezer packs. Not a priority for many I know.
