A note from the site themselves...

Wold Escapes is owned and run by the Rymer family, who are also the owners of JSR Farms. With our roots firmly in agriculture, we are passionate about producing high-quality food, caring for the local environment and preserving the beauty of the British countryside.

In 2010, we transformed the former agricultural barns at Highfield Farm into a state-of-the-art cookery school alongside luxury bed and breakfast accommodation. The Yorkshire Wolds Cookery School has since welcomed thousands of guests and earned multiple awards for its exceptional courses and hospitality.

Inspired by the stunning landscape that surrounds us, we wanted to create more opportunities for people to experience the peace and beauty of the Yorkshire Wolds. In April 2021, we launched our first eco-friendly glamping cabins and continued to expand the accommodation offering over the following years.

By 2025, Wold Escapes had grown to nine luxury glamping cabins, all designed to help guests reconnect with nature while enjoying exceptional comfort and spectacular countryside views. The next chapter in our journey came in June 2026 with the opening of our new touring park.

Wildlife conservation is at the heart of everything we do. Throughout the farm, you will find extensive wildflower margins, bird boxes and bat boxes, all carefully managed to encourage biodiversity and provide habitats for local wildlife. Our farm walks offer guests the chance to explore these conservation areas, enjoy the natural chalk stream, and spot swans, barn owls and a variety of other wildlife along the way.

Food lovers will also appreciate the excellent onsite cooking school. Expert guest chefs lead a variety of courses, sharing skills, techniques and recipes that guests can recreate at home long after their holiday has ended.

This building dominates the town centre and is famous for its striking architecture, stone carvings and centuries of history. Beverley also offers charming cobbled streets, boutiques and traditional tea rooms.
