Absolutely superb. The welcome from Vicky could not have been any better. A review will not do this accommodation justice. It's a must go to place to really get the appreciation of this pod. Watching the stars above from the Hot Tub was magic, even in the winter months. Will certainly book again in the future.

Our 2 night stay in the Really Posh Pod

First time glamping, thought we'd do it with style. I'd say it was great value for money - Vicky was very friendly and polite and the pod was very, very clean and proper. It is literally 2 minutes from the train station where we nipped to Scarborough for the day. Only a few pubs in the area so you do have to pre book a table, we tried the Pie Bald Inn, and easy 10 min walk from the Pods and would highly recommend there for a meal when staying at the Pods. Would love to go to the pod again, maybe even try the Grade II Listed lodges Vicky had to offer. Great location in a quiet village, couldn't recommend it more.

Clean, comfy and cosy

A clean and comfortable place to stay, the owner thought of everything, right down to the last detail. Location is great as only a 5 min walk to the local shop and pubs. The only downside is we had to come home! Booking again for next summer.

Really posh pod

Cute little home from home, lovely bathroom and a hot tub, not really camping at all! Super handy for the coast yet hidden from the crowds. A peaceful haven, surrounded by trees, birdsong outside and every comfort inside. Would definitely book again if staying in the area. Go on treat yourself!

Amazing

Just come back from a two night stay at Follies Posh Pods and didn't want to leave. The pods are amazing. So beautifully presented, immaculate, everything you could possible want and more. The setting is so peaceful & relaxing in the hot tub. Plenty to see and do in the area. The village is lovely and so welcoming. Highly recommend this place. We will be back 😊

Brilliant stay

Beautiful pod, excellent location. Watching the wildlife whilst in the hot tub was priceless. It actually felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Just what we wanted. A perfect relaxing weekend. Vicky, the owner, is lovely and really helpful. We will definitely be recommending and we are going to book again.

Lovely pod and host

The pod was lovely and Vicky the host was extremely friendly and welcoming. As others have mentioned, it is next to a road but you don't really notice it. Bathroom is clean and modern. The bath is much shorter than you think but still pleasant. Lack of outside lighting (very small lights set into the wall) proved difficult when trying to do a BBQ but worked round it using the security light as much as possible. The hot tub was lovely on a cold winter evening and the small lights were sufficient for mood lighting. I suggest making it clear if you want to use the hot tub on the morning, as I didn't, and it was being cleaned when I was going to use it. I feel it was expensive for what it was but I paid a single night supplement, even though only one night was available.

Thank you for your review, all comments are welcomed and trying to please everyone is a struggle. Here at the Posh Pods, I've tried to make use of the incredible dark skies we have here at the coast and keep outside lighting to a certain mood for couples or singles to relax and unwind. The bath is a "slipper bath" and is designed to sit up in and is deeper than a normal house bath. I'm sorry you struggled alone barbecuing at night, there is also a torch hung on the wall by the door along with the security lights and mood lighting. The hot tub is checked daily by myself, usually when you're out through the day, but on one night stays between December and February, I do try to clean them out up to 30 minutes prior to your departure at 9.30am so they are ready for the next guests at 2pm. I do feel your late arrival into the evening meant you couldn't make use of the whole time given in one night. Christmas and New Year's Eve/Day does come at a premium most places.

Relaxing break

This was our first visit to the Follies and it certainly wont be the last! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Vicky met us on arrival and showed us into the pod and how to work the hot tub. She was very welcoming. The pod was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean with absolutely everything to hand. So much thought has gone into every aspect of the facility, all you needed to take was yourself! The location was great, with only a five minute stroll to the nearest pub or local amenities. We visited the Hunmanby Gap beach, which was ideal for our labrador to burn off her energy. We thoroughly enjoyed this break and have made some great memories. Thank you Vicky!

Posh pod

Lovely pod with great facilities. Very clean and good location. Would definitely recommend. Friendly host who is happy to help.

Our stay

From the moment we arrived, Vickey was welcoming and very friendly nothing was too much trouble for her. The pod was very luxurious much more than we had anticipated. Vicky the owner had thought of everything we could have wished for with our short stay, even some cool water in the fridge for the dog after his journey which was adorable. The hot tub was beautiful surrounded by woodland and was cleaned daily, guest towels, robes and slippers were provided (lovely touch). I would highly recommend this posh pod to anyone. Beautiful countryside with a dog-friendly beach a few minutes drive away, local village within walking distance of around ten minutes.

We loved it

We stayed at Hunmanby Posh Follies 30 July to 1 Aug. It was our first experience of glamping and we loved it. Vicky gave us a lovely warm welcome and clearly explained how everything works including the delightful hot tub situated outside the posh pod. Everything is very comfortable and finished to a high standard with a well-equipped kitchen. Hunmanby village is a short walk away with several local pubs including the famous Piebald 'pie' pub. Would highly recommend a stay there!

Amazing little getaway!

What a fabulous little getaway location! It was even better than we could have imagined! Everything was spotless and the host was very friendly! Would recommend to anyone!

Great for a short break away

Very clean nice location with short walk to pub, Co-op and some takeaways. It was good value for money with the hot tub

Lovely place to stay!

We stayed in the ‘really posh pod’ and it was stunning inside! The hot tub was brilliant, super comfy bed, lovely en-suite. I would defo recommend staying in this pod. Dog friendly too.

Surprise 2 night break for my wife

Excellent greeting. The host was really friendly. Excellent value for money. Beautiful surroundings. We stayed in the Really PoshPod with hot tub. Words can't describe, it was fantastic. Myself and my wife would highly recommend.
