A note from the site themselves...

The magic of Studfold began back in 1959 when a friendly fisherman knocked on Gladys and Herbert Walker's door, wanting to camp and fish by the beck. Well, Grandpa Walker was all for it, and voila - our camping paradise was born! Now, kids splash and build dams in that very beck that started it all.

Fast forward to 1974, and Stan and Freda Walker took the reins, making Studfold even more awesome. They spruced up our facilities and made sure everyone could enjoy the wonders of our park. You may even spot Freda busying around, making everything spic and span.

Now, it's us, Anne and Ian, keeping the Studfold spirit alive. Our caravan community has bloomed to 60 homes, and we've got a fab camping and glamping park waiting just for you. Plus, our adventure trail? It's a fairy-filled wonderland that keeps growing, just like our warm, friendly community.

Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

We were contacted by Ian just before our arrival to inform us that it had rained again the previous day and that we could put our motorhome on the emergency gravel section, that was right opposite the toilets and shower, which was a massive bonus. We had the entire site to ourselves and the only noise we heard was the lambs/sheep. The footpaths around the site were absolutely fantastic and the scenery was to die for. We came for 3 nights to recharge our batteries and to just relax. Relax and chill we certainly did and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thanks to Ian for a beautiful site - we will definitely be back again.

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass PitchesApr 2024

We parked at Scar House reservoir, great walk, checked in at Studfold, a very clean and well organised friendly site, walked up to the pub along Stean gorge, back to the site via the church and had a very peaceful night and day spent in this wonderful area of North Yorkshire

Great location
