Stayed here for 4 nights with our dog. Lovely location quiet and peaceful, beautiful scenery. Ample space to walk dog. Cannot comment on Pickering itself as did not venture into town, but went to Whitby, which was lovely, and did a hiking trail to a waterfall which was a great day out. Pod clean, tidy, cosy, ample appliances. Would highly recommend.

Two nights in a lovely, well-equipped pod. Cosy and clean, friendly welcome, and an easy check in experience. There was a bit of building work as preparations were being made for new lodges but this wasn't really a problem. Peaceful area with easy access to coast. Pleasantly surprised by all the little extra touches. Would definitely recommend and would like to come back when the weather is a bit better and maybe try one of the lodges. Overall we had a great time đź‘Ť

Gorgeous lodge with so many high quality amenities. Loved the hot tub to stare at the stars and the birds during the day. Stayed in a few different accommodations here now, just got the pods to try. They look amazing for glamping! Overall, a great family friendly site with so many things nearby to explore.

My wife and I stayed in a Woodland Lodge at High Oaks Grange recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The lodge was very well equipped with everything we could possibly want and it was very clean and comfortable - a real home from home. The hot tub was a real treat. High Oaks Grange is half way between Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale and both were within easy walking distance. We found lots of places for coffee stops and meals in both these places. We’ll definitely return to this lovely site and can highly recommend it.

From start to finish, our stay did not disappoint. Our lodge was just beautiful. It had everything you would need and more. Everything was finished to a very high standard. The hot tub provided a well needed retreat after busy days spent exploring. The location is ideal for exploring the local area. As well as lots of walks from the lodge, we spent a day in Dalby Forest and Pickering. There are also plenty of places to grab an evening meal if you didn't want to cook! I would highly recommend and we have already booked to go back!
